It is decorated in an ode to Marilyn Monroe and is known for having a Marilyn statue out front at the sidewalk where people often stop to take pictures with Marilyn. (She heads inside during winter and Santa takes her place for holiday picture opportunities. There’s always something to look at while having your hair done!

Chris was so friendly, made me feel welcome and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. He took me through every step and made sure I was comfortable during the process. Like I said in the beginning, best cut and color I’ve gotten, left me feeling beautiful and with a big a smile because of his amazing service!

Rose is knowledgeable and skilled at what she does and after chatting with her for a single 30/60 minute appointment, you’ll leave wishing she was your best friend— guarantee it. A side note: I’ve tried two skincare brands that Rose carries (Hale & Hush and Skinscript) and they’re both amazing and I am OBSESSED. She also carries amazing candles, jewelry, and even cute socks! Also, I used Alan the last hair service I had (cut, color, style) and got *so* many compliments! I’ll attach a photo of my skin with minimal makeup and one of my hair right after my service with Alan (though the lighting on that one doesn’t do the color justice) ☺️ Salon Arcanum is a clean, professional, and well-priced beauty service salon. Michelle Smith: I recently called Mel with Call for Beauty to have my hair and makeup done for my 30yr anniversary and vow renewal. Mel was so wonderful and my hair and makeup was way beyond what I could have dreamed of. My appointment was set around noon. The vow renewal was at 6pm. My make up held up all afternoon and well into the night. My hair never fell and my curls stayed in my hair, which is a hard thing to do. Mel made magic happen for my special day and I highly recommend her for any special event anyone may have. I will be using her again.

I understand my toddlers hair not being perfect because he didnt stay still. But I wasnt happy with my husbands either. Again, definitely not bad haircuts...But for almost 100$ after tip. Weve gotten better haircuts at great clips for half the price.
