Gerri Coleman I encountered an issue with my vehicle, which began consuming oil and ultimately became inoperable while I was driving. I arranged for a tow to Lewis Auto Service and communicated regularly with a representative named Christian. He assured me that I could leave my vehicle at their facility for as long as needed while we worked to resolve the issue with Kia. Over the years, I maintained contact with the service center, and my husband made periodic visits to check on the vehicles status.
Recently, I received a notice indicating that my vehicle had been towed to a storage facility. Upon calling the number provided, I spoke with a representative named Kay, who informed me that Lewis Automotive had instructed the towing of my vehicle.
In an effort to clarify the situation, I contacted Lewis Automotive again and spoke with Christian. He claimed that he had attempted to call multiple times but was unable to reach anyone. However, I informed him that we had not received any messages, and my husband had visited the service center just prior to the holidays without being made aware of any issues. The conversation became heated, and he eventually hung up on me. I subsequently followed up with the owner, Faustino, who reiterated Christians position but did not provide any new information. I have also confirmed with my cellular provider that no calls were received to my phone from their business number, which both Christian and Faustino indicated would have been the source of the calls.
This experience has raised significant concerns regarding the communication practices at Lewis Auto Service. It appears that they proceeded to tow my vehicle without my consent, leading me to advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering their services.
