I remember the owner told me he could not work on my car because they were installing insulation in the shop. Nevertheless, I left my car with him and he had the work done the following day. Very efficient and very good work. My cars radiator has not given me any problems.

Riley Fisher Found J&R on Google today and won’t go anywhere else for any kind of tire service or alignments in town. Honest, fair, and they will make sure you’re getting quality no matter what. Went in looking for a used tire for my truck and the first tire had a slow leak so he removed it and replaced it with another one. About an hour’s worth of labor. After all of that on a 3/4 ton truck, he only charged me $60 total, including labor and the tire itself. Family owned businesses like this don’t exist anymore. If you get the chance, go see Jorge at J&R’s. His dad owns the business and they will take care of you to the highest quality possible. Thank you guys!

Jessica Wells I discovered J&R tire about 8 months ago and have been loyal since (I go through a lot of used tires lol). The owner is fair, friendly, and they always get me in and out. Would recommend for new and used tires or alignments!

Steve Belt Im a classic car buff, and my 71 Stingray was in an accident damaging the passenger rear quarter and rear diffuser area. The car had some unique and expensive paintwork on it that I expected would require him to respray the whole car. However, Doug and his team LITERALLY returned the car to me in about a month, looking better than before the accident. Now, Im taking the car back to Doug to do some customization and additional paintwork since I trust him so much. Couldnt recommend him more! I wanted to update my review to share more work Doug and team have done. This time it was based on changes and improvements not damage. I did major a engine upgrade installing a 6-71 supercharger among other things which led to needed hood and paint work. Since the team did so well last time, I took it back to get a new hood cut, fit, and painted to allow for the blower to come through. To make this work Doug came up with a creative way to keep the opening around the blower tight but allow the hood to be opened as normal. Additionally I had them correct some fiberglass issues and Repaint the entire front of the car. Overall, Im totally thrilled with work they did and couldnt be happier.

Rachel Sharp Went to go look at a car for sale here. Seller lied about tires being “Brand New” and had to jump start the car when I got there after saying it was in “Perfect Condition”. Completely lied about the listing. FALSE ADVERTISING. The tires were so bald, not even legal to drive and hadn’t been driven in over a month which was also not made aware. DO NOT BUY!!!

Don’t listen to the people who are leaving 1 star reviews as they have no idea what they’re talking about. Bring your car here to get fixed and see for yourself!

Natalie Tate If i could give negative stars I would, Sunday my moms car broke down due to a radiator problem so we had it towed to Howdy, off the bat the guy was very creepy, calling my mom at 11pm asking if she was up and and she should come over and invited her to dinner. He looked throughout her car in the back seats I guess to see for valuables. He didn’t even fix the radiator like we had asked him to he fixed the water pump and fan belt which was not something we asked him to do at all. After my mom got her car back, it broke down right outside of Bryan, had to have it towed back and he finally fixed the issue. Worst experience for my mom and I with a mechanic. This place is a scam do not recommend Howdy Auto Rebuild to anyone

Henry Ramirez Went in for a quote on a transmission rebuild for my car. Enrique was professional and knew what he was talking about. Gave me a great price and said he could have it done in one week. Told him I would be out of town for 2 weeks. Said it would be done when I was back in town and it was. Car drives and shifts great again. Best price in town and had it done quickly. george sgouros I picked Kubin because of their previous excellent reviews, since I was looking for a trustworthy and reliable car repair shop for my daughter to use while at A&M. I must say that they exceeded my expectations. My daughter damaged an outside car mirror in a parking lot and needed to be repaired quickly for safety reasons with minimal disruption in her busy schedule. Not only she is new at A&M but we live in Houston and wanted to avoid having to drive the car back to Houston for repairs. I called several places in Bryan - College Station but Ken from Kubin only was the only one who agreed to look at the car on a Short notice and appeared very reasonable during our discussion. I brought spare parts from the Dealer in Houston and after discussing several options with Ken he was able to perform a fit for purpose mirror repair using the parts I provided within two hour, with minimum disruption in our schedule, and at a very reasonable cost. We now have a mechanic at Bryan / College Station. Obviously, I fully recommend this place!

James Savitske Wonderful personal service from a wise and seasoned local shop. Hard to find fellas like this these days. Took my daughters RAM (even if they are Ford guys) here for repars based the ratings on Google and have not been disappointed. A good old mechanic who does not necessarily to rely on codes from the vehicles computer to understand and fix something (although those codes do help!) Simply a refreshing experience. Highly recommended.

Hazael Moreno I used to come to this shop every time I had a problem, and it used to be a very very good shop. But i think it was a great shop because the Dad used to run it, now if i leave something its gonna sit for months without someone even looking at it.

After calling around for quotes and receiving poor customer service at other businesses, we finally contacted the next on our list — Christian Brothers Automotive. Considering our previous experience with other shops in the area, Christian Brothers topped the standard. They were extremely helpful, informative and professional. Despite being so far from my daughter and unable to assist; I was politely reassured and lifted of any pressure regarding her vehicle. I am very thankful for finding this shop and will be sure to have my daughter return if any car troubles were to happen in the future!

Randy Clark Larry and his team recently repaired my box on my box truck after I had run it into an oak tree limb and I couldnt be happier with the work he did. The damage was not pretty, but they did a terrific job replacing the parts and riveting everything back together. They also had to work around the equipment I had in my truck, which added a level of difficulty, but were careful not to damage anything. I thought their pricing was fair and straightforward and working with Larry you just get an automatic feeling that you can trust him to take care of you and not gouge you. I will be a returning customer no doubt. Thank you Mr. West for doing such a great job.
