Tillies Cafe - Schulenburg (TX)

5 /5 Andy Lu: We had a 3 month old baby that needed to have a car seat break so decided to eat here since it’s a good middle point between Houston and San Antonio. Very nice staff. Very chill vibes, good space to sit and chill for drinks and food. Walked around outside with baby since it was very scenic. I didn’t expect the food to be that good but it was very enjoyable. I ordered the cluck yea and it was definitely a sandwich I’ll remember. This now will be my stop anytime I do a trip to San Antonio in the future

5 /5 Lauren Clifton: My husband and I have had Tillie’s several times since moving to the area and it never disappoints! Their coffees are amazing and so is their lunch menu. The staff is awesome as well, which makes the experience that much more pleasant. A must try!

1 /5 L: I had high expectations with Tillie’s with all of the positive reviews I’ve read. My experience,however, was the complete opposite! I definitely received subpar service. I’m not sure why exactly as there were minimal patrons in the eatery and only a small family placing an order before myself. My burger was missing a fried egg and my fries were literally cold, not even room temperature. I’m unsure of where the ball was dropped but my order was either not relayed promptly to the cook or the server let it just sit past its “ready time”. I never received an explanation regarding the almost hour delay so I really don’t know. Transparency is key. Mistakes happen but at least be accountable! I believe my burger could’ve had potential to be decent if it would’ve came out hot and prepared as I ordered it. Very disappointing. Also, whoever took my order didn’t know if the cookies were only gluten free and didn’t care to ask or get clarification regarding the ingredients. From this above experience, I do not recommend Tillie’s.

4 /5 Bishwa, The world!: Ordered ‘Golden Ticket’ under the signature drinks it didn’t match the explanation and the expectation, our second drink was the hot matcha, it was okay but the third drink was steamies with chocolate Milano and lavender flavor, it was the best! For the breakfast we had an order of Breakwich, The Rito and Avo Toast, all of ‘em were simply delicious! Wasn’t busy at the time we were there so parking wasn’t a problem for us and the atmosphere was great and cozy!!

5 /5 Josh: A fun, welcoming cafe with breakfast, lunch, and coffee drinks. I loved the scrambled eggs, hash browns, and blueberry hot cake. Its located in the main strip of downtown Schulenburg with free street parking.
