1 /5 J.C. Terrazas: Been here before with no issues, so not sure what happened when I stopped in here last time. I came in around 2:30 with the intention of having lunch and playing some darts. Walked in, it wasn’t very busy. There were some people at the bar and maybe 1 table sat. The bartender greeted us and told us to sit wherever we’d like, and that was the last we saw of her.
We sat down and read our menus, closed them, and waited, and no one ever came to our table. During this time, 2 other tables were sat. I noticed several issues. The bartender was greeting tables one at a time. She was also greeting tables by proximity to the bar, not by who came in first. We watched the 2 other tables that came in after us get greeted first.
Some constructive feedback would be to treat all the tables on the floor as one table. It doesn’t take much more effort to greet all the seated tables all together, take all the drink orders together, etc. Rather than greeting them one at a time, making the drinks one table at a time. You will be in the weeds all day if you do it that way.
Also, several other employees walked past us while we were there. If you work in a restaurant and see a table with no drink coasters and they have been there a while, not a bad idea to check and make sure they have been taken care of.
Eventually we got up and left, no one said a word.
We walked across the street to El Mejor, were greeted immediately and received great service. I recommend others do the same.
