5 /5 Kaitlin B: Stopped here for lunch while I was in the area. The food was very solid. The cocktails were really good too. The decor was also great. Classic. I also like restaurants/bars with couches. Definitely seems like a fun place to hang out.

5 /5 Wayne W: My wife and I stopped in last weekend on the way home from Galveston and Im glad she found it on google maps. We had been fighting traffic all day and were ready to get off the road and get some food. We both had the chicken sandwich and it was excellent! The chicken was cooked perfectly so it stayed juicy (which can be a challenge with boneless, skinless chicken breast) and the fixins were just right. The fries were great, too, and the service was excellent. We did not get anything from the bar because we had to get right back on the interstate but their cocktail menu had a little of everything. Overall excellent experience and will probably stop in the next time were coming back from the island.

5 /5 Elijah Terrell: BEST steak I have ever had.. I am a steak counisour..I have driven hour and half for a good steak.. This steak is so juicy it melts in your mouth like butter.. no sauce needed.. I have gone twice now in two weeks.. They serve it on Saturdays wish they serve it regularly..lol..probably good thing I would be broke lol.. I will, I am sure be there again Saturday.. must try.. and the deviled eggs and French fries and vegetables are great too..

The drinks are great, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. A solid choice for a good time with excellent service! Not to mention all the fun events/live music they have each week, this is a great bar and a great thing for Gainesville!

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—fun, welcoming, and full of energy without ever feeling overwhelming. Whether youre there for a themed night, live music, or just to hang out with friends, the staff always makes you feel right at home. The crowd is friendly, the drink selection is solid, and the space itself has a great vibe that keeps you wanting to come back. If youre looking for a place in Gainesville that consistently delivers a good time, The County Seat is definitely worth a visit.
