5 /5 Cord Largo: ★★★★★ Outstanding lunch—worth a repeat visit I’ve eaten lunches here twice, on back-to-back days, because it was that good. The food is better than the lunches I’ve had in Progreso, Mexico. Everything came out hot, crisp, and fresh. The lunches were warm with the right bite, and the meat was outstanding—well-seasoned, juicy, and clearly cooked with care. I also met Miriam, the owner’s mother, and she’s fantastic—welcoming, genuine, and proud of what they’ve built. This is her son’s first venture, and he’s doing an excellent job. You can tell there’s real pride behind the food and the service. If you’re anywhere near Edinburg and want a proper South Texas lunch done right, Tejanos is the place.

5 /5 Rodolfo Rodriguez: Place looks amazing went and picked up some tacos,a sincronizada and a papa with carne the tacos combos come with a small whole papa the carne asada was super good to highly recommend cant wait to go try the rest of the menu

1 /5 Miguel Marquez: I remember going on the first days it opened the food was great and service was excellent! Unfortunately now it’s a total different story. The place is empty and the service is not great. It was empty when we arrived, the server took a while to come to us. Once we order the food took more than 30 min. (and I repeat it was only us) the server was on her phone and dint even care about the timing on the food. I loved this place but not anymore the meat as dry and looked old, no flavor at all. I hope they step up their game because it’s a nice place to go relax and listen to good music while you eat tacos but unfortunately not today when we went it was a big no no!
