5 /5 Keisha Johnson-McCaig: Just left and have nothing but good things to say! The place was easy to find, has decent parking, and is very clean.
I dined alone, and came a little after 5pm, when they are opening for dinner. I was seated immediately. Maybe a little dark inside for reading a menu. But again, they had just opened and did end up turning on the overhead lights. The gentleman at the door and lady on the floor were very lovely and quite friendly.
I ordered the chilli paneer and sweet lassie as an appetizer. The paneer was served warm and was good. And the lassie was classic, like you would expect in India. For dinner, I got the chicken vindeloo. He did warn that it is spicy, which I dont mind. The lassie cut right through the spice, and it was amazing! Dessert was ras malai and cup of hot chai. It was my first time having the ras malai, and I really enjoyed it. Its reminiscent of cookies and milk. It does have nuts, so maybe be sure to read the description.
I paid $55 in total w tip. Pretty fair for the portion sizes and service. Ill definitely return!
