1 /5 Gladis Zavala: Every time I stop at this location I always get the same 6in flat bread and I always get charged extra. Today I asked the young lady with the red hair why there were extra charges for bacon and avocado if the sandwich already rings up on the computer with those specific ingredients. She said the sandwich didn’t ring up like that anymore, I told her I was looking at it on the screen. Then she said well it’s extra because you got a flat bread and the #40 only applies to sandwiches. Then I said yea the top of the menu says “sandwiches and wraps”. Then she said well you got a foot long wrap because we can’t cut the flat bread in half. I am literally holding a flat bread that I saw being cut in half with my own eyes. The unprofessionalism and the way this young lady will gaslight you is insane! She had every reason under the sun to make the charges add up, yet they didn’t! So I decided to up load the receipt because none of her reason make any sense. The menu specifies the #40 “turkey bacon avocado”. She could not give me a logical explanation which is why I decided to give this location a review. There is a clear demarcation line where the flat bread was cut in half and as I mentioned, I saw the girl preparing my wrap CUT the flat bread as I asked for a SIX INCH flat bread. I SAW her with my very own eyes! Perhaps their staff has been trained to up charge on ingredients that you’re already paying extra for as it is, the 6in flat bread rung up for 8.09 which is more compared to other sandwiches and wraps. The reason being…. Because it comes with bacon and avocado therefore, it is more expensive. I don’t have a problem paying extra for quality ingredients but there is a difference between paying 8.09 for a TURKEY BACON GUAC flat bread and then on top of that still getting charged an extra 1.25 and .85 when the sandwich already comes with it. That’s just a scam. Not sure if it’s a managing issue, if it’s the franchise owner or if it’s subway as a corporation. My husband and I travel all over Texas for business purposes. We constantly stop at subway locations and this is the only location that always adds additional fees for an already uncharged sandwich/flatbread do to the bacon and avocado. You’re better off driving one more exit up ahead there is another gas station with a subway that doesn’t over charge.
