5 /5 Cheryl Anna: We stopped here for fuel and grub, my first time here. The smell of smoked brisket, chicken and BBQ was so wonderful. We were greeted then made our order of BBQ, fast and delicious. I ordered the kids plate of chicken and fries...delicious. My parents ordered the 2 meat plate with sides. They really enjoyed it as well; this is not their first time here. Visited the restrooms just to check cleanliness, very nice and they have a baby changing station. All of the antiques are neat to look at, a walk back in time. There is a gift shop and display for honey raised here in Texas. We topped off our lunch with a brownie from the dessert display....wow! So good, enough to share with others. Great place to stop on the way to Corpus Christi or even South Padre Island. Thanks for the grub.

1 /5 Sunny rose: Made a quick pit stop at this place because I was told they had some good food. Sadly, it wasn’t the case. I took apart the chicken to serve my daughter and the chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Only positive was lady at the drive thru. She had great customer service.

2 /5 Cora W: I was going to order the smoked chicken plate, but they were out of chicken so I ordered the catfish plate. My husband had planned on ordering the 2 meat plate with ribs, but they were out of it. So, he ordered the turkey and jalapeno cheese sausage. The catfish was good. Onion rings and hush puppies were good. The green beans lacked flavor. My husbands turkey was good. The sausage was dried out. It tasted like they cut it before they smoked it.

5 /5 Monett McHazlett Ermis: Wonderful BBQ! The Brisket was awesome. Potato salad, beans, coleslaw, green beans, baked potato and salad were on point! The steak was cooked perfect but was mainly Gristle and couldnt be eaten. The cashier was professional. The waitress was kind, patient and did a wonderful job. Definitely will be back for brisket and all the trimmings. This is a great place to eat!

4 /5 Chris Switzer: We stopped for lunch on a Sunday trip to Corpus Christi. Overall, it was solid BBQ. The bar for Texas style BBQ is just high. The brisket was flavorful and tender, but not blow you away. The pork ribs were excellent. The showstopper was the bbq baked potato- I would definitely order that again. They did have excellent sides and brewed iced tea. Worth a stop!
