3 /5 Eli Rodriguez: This is definitely a place for the vibe. But the food could be better.
$5 for chips and 1 oz of salsa, don’t recommend.
Coffees were good. Would like to try more of them.
Chilaquiles looked promising. But the salsa was a bit too much to be able to enjoy the full dish (spice levels were on the higher side, I prefer if the spiciness doesn’t sacrifice the flavor). The green salsa that came with the chips would’ve been a much better choice for this dish.
The steak, definitely do not recommend. Asked for a medium, got it well done. Asked server if we could get it redone to medium, and while they agreed without issues the second iteration was rare. Decided to just go with it, but the meat was tough and bland. No flavor was present whatsoever(not even salt), which was surprising since it’s labeled in the menu as marinated(rest of plate was okay).
Would like to come back and try other stuff. But I feel like they focus more on the visual aspect than the flavor aspect of the meals.
