4 /5 NateMFJ: We were greeted right away and seated promptly. The restaurant interior felt a little dated, but it was clean and spacious. It was quite busy during our visit, and we kept hearing staff apologize for delays, but we decided to order anyway.
For our first round, we ordered edamame, soup, and a few rolls. The soup arrived first — it was okay but lacked flavor, and unfortunately, they didn’t have white pepper when we asked. The avocado roll came next; it was fresh and tasted good. The California roll followed and was also fresh, though it tasted almost identical to the avocado roll.
Next, we tried the soft-shell crab roll. It looked great but had a very fishy taste and an unusual amount of lettuce inside, which felt a bit off. We also ordered a chicken tempura roll, which took about 15 minutes to arrive. It was hot and freshly made, but honestly, a little underwhelming in flavor.
On the positive side, our server was quick, polite, and attentive throughout the meal. The food was very affordable and filling, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was a decent experience, but we’ll probably check out some other sushi spots in town before returning.
