1 /5 Aaron Arnett: I ordered several items, including a Rooster and a grilled cheese with fries. They "didnt hear" me order fries for my daughter and the sandwich came out with half the ingredients missing. I was brought back inside and rung up foe the feiws Im pretty sure I already paid for with an attitude. The grilled cheese was just.. toast with cool cheese in between? They also brought the items out one at a time, and tried to bring the appetizer in the middle. Once I pointed out the first issue, the customer service went down the drain, I mean this woman came, ITEM BY ITEM and just dropped the food on our table! We said "thank you" each time but were met with intentional silence. I alerted the manager on duty after a long sigh when I asked for her, and was offered a refund OR a voucher, but I will not return. This was our first and last visit, this place is not worth a second chance. There are much nicer places in Lufkin to eat.

4 /5 Daniel Hamby: We tried this place because my wife was wanting breakfast for lunch. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. The food had pretty big portions. They was out of coffee but made some fresh for us. The food tasted good. They do bring it out one at a time though. Its definitely worth checking out.

4 /5 Michelle McMillen: Great menu! It was cold outside today and just as cold inside. But food tasted good. Coffee was good and hot! Didnt like having to make several trips to get silverware. It would have been nice if they told us when ordering where everything was. Ordered combo meals, good value! Everything cooked to order so came out hot!

5 /5 NateMFJ: This was our first restaurant visit since moving to Lufkin, so we were excited to try something new. We walked in during a busy breakfast rush, but there were still plenty of open tables. Once we reached the front of the line, the young lady behind the counter greeted us right away, took our order, and handed us our cups. The drink station was clean and stocked with a good selection. We grabbed a table—both the tables and floors were clean—and within about 10 minutes our food arrived. I ordered the French Toast Combo, which came with four slices of French toast, two eggs, sausage, and seasoned potatoes. The meal came out on two plates, and everything was spot on. The French toast had a perfect light crunch on the outside while staying pillowy soft inside. The scrambled eggs and sausage were solid, and the seasoned potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside. My wife ordered the Breakfast BLT—bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried egg, and Duke’s mayo. She added a little hot sauce and absolutely loved it. Not a crumb left! She liked it so much that we also picked up a tub of their chicken salad to take home, and it was delicious later that day—no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be back to Roost to try more of their menu!

5 /5 Melissa H: I only come here for the potato salad! Absolutely love it but the sandwiches too! Sometimes I just want that deli sandwich that only Roost can offer. I want something thats not your commercial type sandwich shop, ie Subway, Firehouse subs etc. Roost is the real deal! I thought of the picture after I was almost done. It doesnt do it justice. Sorry. Next time. This is truly a gem.
