4 /5 Irwn Jason: Went her for lunch on a Sunday. Its a little out of the way but pretty good for the drive. The service was excellent. We were checked on many times during our meal. Always asked if we needed anything. The chips were great the salsa is pretty good. Im not a huge fan of salantro (it tastes like soap to me), and you couldnt get dip without it in it. A lot of people reading will love salantro, so Im not dinging them at all for that. Where the food was a little off was I ordered fajitas, and when the skillet came out, no smoke or steam was coming with it. To me, this is how you know its hot and fresh. The flavor was good. The presentation was just off. Also it came with guacamole (plus) but no sour cream (big minus for me). Wifes food was good, take pretty good and was hot and fresh, it came with sour cream and guacamole so pluses there

2 /5 B S: We have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Came in for lunch with only a few people inside. From the moment we walked in the door the greeter/waitress seemed to be annoyed with us. She was giving us heavy sighs, eye rolls and generally unfriendly looks. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and doesn’t treat customers like that normally. The chips and salsa were pretty good. Queso was watery. The price seemed high as well for what we got. Really did not enjoy the food or the waitress being rude to us. I would normally give a restaurant & food another shot but the service left a bad taste in our mouths.

5 /5 Boone Blair: Only Mexican food place I’ve ever been to where every employee genuinely is bothered that you are there. Every server is rude and has no time for your bs. Plates and utensils are thrown on the table. Not a smile in the restaurant. That being said, it’s the closest place to get a margarita from our ranch. Margs are a 6 out of 10. I love this place

3 /5 Will Belden: When we arrived, there were folks seated at multiple tables eating, but no staff on the floor. We waited a bit, grabbed menus and seated ourselves. Food was fine, margaritas were a good price and not TOO sweet. Waitress was attentive, but my less-than-stellar review is because: in over 35 (Im 50+) years of ordering food at Mexican restaurants in Texas or anywhere in the country (or Mexico), Ive NEVER been charged for cilantro. Now, even if you WANT to charge extra, notify the customer in advance. And dang sure dont charge $1.50 for some cilantro sprinkled onto some enchiladas. And when I call you on the "misc. charge" at the checkout (yes, waitress brought the ticket, but never came back, I finally figured it out and went to the front), dont just shrug and say "thats just the price". If it was "just the price" it should have its own line item, not just "miscellaneous". Up until that point, the wife and I had planned to visit again when we returned to town for an errand in a week or so. Now...? No, thank you. I hope that unannounced $1.50 upcharge was worth it, Rancho Nuevo. Remember this: If you had asked me, I wouldnt have had an issue. NO ONE likes surprise charges. When you are irritated about my low rating, just remember you had a chance to correct it with me at the register when I brought it up.

5 /5 Charles Bratcher: Great food and plenty of it! Our first time here but it wont be our last. My burrito was on point as were the wifes enchiladas. Great lunch menu with good prices. The only thing wrong, and its a very minor point, is the music being a little loud.
