1 /5 Amanda De Leon: I first ate Palenque Grill in San Antonio and the Al Pastor tacos were amazing. So tender and juicy. The pineapples were marinated and full of flavor. I was happy to see there was a location in McAllen. The experience was night and day. I ordered the same tacos, but the meat was dry, the corn tortillas were greasy and chewy, the pineapples were tough as if it were cut directly from the rind. Ive eaten at the Mcallen location twice, but each experience solidified it pales greatly to its San Antonio branch. Waste of money.
