4 /5 Javier Guerra: Had been years since Id had an opportunity to eat here again. Last visit was Spring of 2002. I ordered the lunch special which was a chicken fried steak with two sides and a slice of Texas Toast. Our waitresses were very attentive and all in all it was a great food experience and I will be coming more often as it had been far too long since Id eaten at the restaurant.
In regards to the CFS quality it was very good although just a tad bit under seasoned. Id recommend seasoning the meat directly with season salt then battering the steak. Gravy was nice and peppery. Hand cut fries which separate anything that the competition has to offer. The corn and Texas toast were buttery and delicious along with an ice cold Coca-Cola to wash it down. All in all a great experience and my wife and I enjoyed our meal. I asked about desert options although sadly there were none available. I think a nice slice of apple pie or pecan pie would be great offerings. Hopefully management will consider offering this in the future.
