5 /5 Kim Galvan: We will definitely go back to Olaf’s! We wanted to go somewhere different for dinner, so we took the short drive over to Clifton. We had heard great reviews of Olaf’s, and we were not disappointed. Making dinner reservations online was a breeze, and we were greeted like long-lost family when we arrived. Cocktails were spot-on. The Very Berry Martini was sweet and refreshing, the Paloma Spritz was light and crisp, and the Island Green Bliss was a tropical treat. Appetizers were amazing! We opted for the beef tips flatbread and crab cakes. The flatbread was crispy and perfectly charred and had a savory flavor with a sweet finish. I would put the crabcakes up against any 5-star seafood restaurant’s. Hands down some of the best crabcakes ever.
The main course selections were salmon and wagyu steaks. The saffron sauce on the salmon was incredible! The wagyu was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And as if we weren’t stuffed enough, we opted for dessert. The crème brûlée was the perfect temperature—cool on the bottom and perfectly toasted on top. The bourbon pecan pie cobbler took the cake, though. Served in a hot skillet and topped with vanilla bean ice cream—holy smokes!
The food, service, and atmosphere rival any “high end” restaurant. Thanks for a memorable evening in Clifton, Olaf’s! We’ll be back!
