4 /5 Bjet: So I started writing this review, saying I have never had a bad experience from this restaurant. We really love coming here. Until today we had a little hiccup. I ordered my favorite the tortilla soup. My husband ordered the lunch tostada special. My food came and all looked good except it was missing the tortillas in my “tortilla soup” I ask the waitress for my tortillas and she said they don’t serve them with the soup anymore. I find that kind of odd since it was a tortilla soup. She gladly said she would bring some out. a short time later a Manager, I think, came to the table and explained with a little plate of tortilla strips that they don’t serve them with the soup anymore because they had too many complaints that it was soggy And because of allergies, etc. they don’t serve them at all anymore. I think they should probably rename the soup to no tortilla, tortilla chicken soup This doesn’t quite make sense to me, but OK. The waitress was very nice and very efficient by the way. No complaint there at all. so I then dug into my soup. I am not sure what has happened in the kitchen. I speckled with vegetables and very little chicken. The broth was tasty. The carrots were old and the avocados were black on the backside. My favorite item on the menu has been altered. Not worth the $8.99 price. The tortillas that were brought to the table when we first arrived were delicious as usual until we got to the bottom crumbs. they were old and stale, as if they tortilla container, has not been cleaned out for quite some time. My husband’s meal, the tostada lunch was very good. He gives it a five star rating. I love their beans as well. They haven’t changed a bit. Please bring back the hearty soup you once served. We have been coming to Mi Familia for years in different locations. Like I said we love this place and have had delicious food in the past. As I said it’s hopefully a hiccup. We will still be back.

1 /5 Myriah Teague: Went last night. The waitress rang up my childrens food as adults. Then charged for the sides of rice and beans on top of it. We asked her abput it she said dont worry its childrens plates. The manager came over and said "hey I know its our mistake but we cant fix that. Do yall want a sopapilla?" None of us even like those and doesnt make up for the huge price difference they charged. They shouldve charged for childrens and they knew that. The staff wasnt on the same page it was pretty frustrating for the whole table. They also brought eveveryones food out but my daughters for 10 minutes.

5 /5 The Kinney Fam: We absolutely love this place. We usually get the beef fajitas and split. Their tortillas are always fresh and delicious. The hot sauce is spicy, but not so hot it burns your throat and your can’t eat it like some places.

1 /5 Adolph Medina: They have no hostess and no sign that says wait to be seated. My mom and I waited for awhile and finally sat down. The waitress finally came out and my mom asked if we were supposed to wait to be seated. She replied yes we dont have a hostess in a snide manner then walked to go seat some other customers and got then menus and silverware. She walked right passed us didnt say anything and went to to the back again. So we got up and left. She made it a point to deny us service and they werent busy at all. Crappie service and we will never go there again!!! The manager, Matty, took the time to actually call me about the incident. She apologized and told me that it would be addressed. I will always give credit where credit is due and I was very appreciative for the phone call and apology.

1 /5 Kennedee Ward: hostess was welcoming, our waitress was friendly, the food, however, overpriced and highly disappointing. i ordered two chicken enchiladas and were served two, tasteless pencil like portions with a small portions of beans and rice on the side. my husband ordered a 14$ brisket burrito that was the size of a mcdonald’s sausage burrito. the dr pepper had more flavor than the food itself. the appearance of this place definitely brings customers in but the overall experience itself, will keep us away.
