Madelines Cafe - Pittsburg (TX)

1 /5 Lyndsey Reeves: AWFUL!!!!! Very adorable cafe. But it was trash. I ordered a large coffee hot. First time it came out it was ice cold. Asked her to make it hot. I heard her put it in the microwave 3 times. when I got it back it looks like she used her FINGER 3 times to test the hotness?!?! Does this not look like finger prints??? Also. The cup isn’t even near full. I didn’t drink any of it!

5 /5 Crystal Ann: This restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The staff was polite and hospitable. I ordered a half Tomato Basil soup and a half Artesian Grilled Cheese sandwich and it was fabulous! Complimentary bread and oil was served prior to meal as well. Highly recommend for soup and sandwiches. There was also a coffee bar and pastries however I did not partake of these. Would go back!

2 /5 C Christensen: The food here just doesn’t taste good. It looks good, but tastes blah. For example, my grilled cheese had riccata in it - that cheese is never in grilled cheese for a reason - it taste disgusting and is a weird texture. Also, the tomato soup was worse than the La Madeleine tomato soup in a jar. It was chunky in a bad way and tasted like a shoe was cooked in it. Avoid this place.

5 /5 Brian Vitrano: Great little cafe. The sandwich was well balanced and perfect size. I am here for work and glad to find this jewel.
