Lubys - Laredo (TX)

5 /5 Juliana Valdez: The place was very accommodating. My husband and I had our 9 month old and car seat with us. We were wondering how we would get our trays to our seats when I heard a bell ring and some nice waitresses came and carried our trays for us. Great friendly service!

1 /5 Alex Salinas: I had a very disappointing experience at Luby’s. The food quality was poor and did not meet expectations, especially considering the price. In addition, the restrooms were unclean and poorly maintained, which made the overall visit uncomfortable. Cleanliness and food quality are basic standards for any restaurant, and unfortunately this location fell short in both areas. This experience has made me hesitant to return or recommend this restaurant to others. The cashier was really really nice tho :)

5 /5 Lori Ekstrom: I had wanted to try Lubys for a while, and was so glad I finally made it there! I was so pleasantly surprised with the Cafeteria style dining they have! They offer a huge variety of Dinner Entreés, and so many options for side dishes, salads, breads & Desserts! I really like that you can go down the long counter and view all the food, and choose what youd like to eat! Everything I tried there was very tasty & fresh! The staff is really welcoming, courteous and so helpful! It was like a nice Home-cooked meal of Yummy comfort foods, and a most enjoyable Dining experience!

4 /5 Ben Vargas: Always a great place for comfort food! Love their almond crusted fish!!! Delicious!!! There were enough wait staff but the guy only went by once or twice... they should check in on the customers a bit more often.

1 /5 Maurice Garcia: My children and I recently visited Luby’s, and wow… busy, busy, busy! We tried to enjoy a meal, but I quickly became overwhelmed by just how many people were in the restaurant. To make matters worse, our waitress kept speaking to me in Spanish, and I had to kindly explain that I only speak English. On top of that, the floors were dirty, and the area where you grab your food needed serious attention. I also noticed that no one was checking the temperatures of the food my fish was cold and had to be returned. Overall, I was very disappointed in this experience. Between the chaos, cleanliness issues, and poor food management, my children and I do not plan on returning.
