3 /5 Jorge Rodriguez: I ordered the whole chicken with sides for $25. It felt a bit pricey, but I decided to try it because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. They said the sides were enough for two people, but that wasn’t the case. The chicken itself was cooked fine but had no real seasoning, and it didn’t include dark meat — mostly wings and breast, with just one leg and no thighs at all.
The sauces had really good flavor, but the containers were only about a quarter full. The beans and rice tasted good, but the beans were more like bean soup than actual beans.
The highlight for me was the handmade tortillas — they were excellent. Overall, though, for $25, I expected more food and better flavor. Not worth the price.
