5 /5 Kart Bal: Bold flavors, variety of meats. One of the best BBQ spots around. I wish they give the food on a tray instead of wrapping it in paper, for the people who are dining in. The bar also had an excellent choice of drinks to pair with the food.

The side dishes were just as impressive and full of Southern comfort. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Many locals recommend Lockhart’s Smokehouse & it DID NOT disappoint! amazing brisket - tried every side they offered & their jalapeño popper (which someone said is called a Texas pickle) EVERYTHING was delicious. Besides the brisket - my favs were the backed beans - deviled eggs & spicy mac&cheese! Will definitely be going back when we visit our son. Staff was very helpful to us being a newcomer - bartender very helpful as well.
