1 /5 Annette Gunn: Tonight was an awful experience. We should’ve known to leave when the hostess told us they only had 2 waitresses and she could seat us (in an empty dining room), but we would have to wait to be served. Upon ordering, we were told by our “new” waitress (she kept telling us she had just started), that we might not get soup and salad because they were out. We did eventually get it; however, the table next to us was not as fortunate. The rice was hard and the meal was just ok. My husband and I shared my water because our waitress never came by to refill his drink even though the dining area was slow. Our daughter and her friends ate at a separate table and got stuck waiting to pay for their food after their waitress announced that she was “taking a smoke break.” They ended up asking a chef for help because he was the only employee they could find - even the hostess had disappeared. After finally getting the check, they observed their waitress cussing about someone, and they wondered if she was talking about them. Who knows! None of the waitresses even had a pen to sign the receipts! Our waitress finally found us one…but my daughter and her friends ended up signing their tickets with my daughter’s lip liner!! The “smoke break” waitress repeatedly asked my daughter’s table to leave her a review on Google…so here you go!! What an absolutely terrible experience for a great deal of money! Next time we’re in Marshall, it’s DQ and dipped cones! Either that, or Pietro’s! Not In Japan…not for awhile.
