Great Wall Chinese Restaurant & Buffet - Dalhart (TX)

5 /5 Nicki Anderson: Driving through on my way to work I ran across this gem. Asian cuisine is my favorite and I wasnt expecting to see anything but burgers and Mexican in this area. Not really a buffet person, I took a look at their menu. Once again, not expecting much. I cannot ever find my favorite dish anywhere but here in teeny tiny Texas town I find Singapore Mei Fun and its done perfectly. I requested extra veggies and the takeout box is no less than 3 pounds! Im beyond excited to have something besides Mexican (for the next few days at least). Hot & Sour soup also very very good. Crab wontons are plentiful and very good as well. Pleasantly surprised and I absolutely will be stopping here every time Im headed back to work.

5 /5 Ryan Armbrust: Based on reviews we stopped in on a Friday night, and our family was very happy with the meal! Friendly prompt service, and all the food was kept topped up on the buffet. Everything we tasted was flavorful and tender. Chicken, pork, shrimp, and even the beef was great. Fair price for the meal too, can’t complain there. The dining room was a little dim and showing its age, but you can tell they try to keep it up and keep it clean. Bathroom was small but clean enough, too. We’d stop here again. Also: it was clearly busy with locals, which is always a good sign.

3 /5 Rachel Gillen: Got delivery. The one soup melted the other soup lid so it was full of plastic and spilled in the bag. Hot n sour soup tasted like rooster sauce. The sushi roll was all rice and should not be on the menu imo. The dinner specials were good. Egg rolls were fine.

The outside might not look the best but Ive noticed from across this country dont Make your opinion on a restaurant from the outside. Ive seen restaurants that spent $2 million on the outside and look like junk on the inside and had junk food. This restaurant was amazing. Very good. Very good food plus for $15 for a dinner for a buffet with soda. You cant beat that

5 /5 Randy Seale: Weve stopped here twice on our road trips and the food quality is excellent. The locals love this place too come to find out. Food quality, buffet selection, and service are all wonderful. No complaints whatsoever. This is a must-stop for us as we drive through Dalhart.
