3 /5 Ema J: We were in Texas City and decided to try this place out. I had good memories of eating here when I worked in Texas City YEARS ago. Sad to say that the memories were better than the real food. We ordered baked potatoes. Mine was fully loaded with chopped brisket and my partner fully loaded with combo brisket and sausage. They were dry and lacked flavor. I had to ask for more sour cream and butter to add more texture to the potato. The chopped brisket was kinda chewy but the sausage was good. I do have to say that the two people fixing them were very nice but the cashier was busy with someone coming out of the kitchen so she barely acknowledged us other than to ring us up. The place is clean, pickles are still crunchy, and drinks are nothing spectacular. Was it worth the $36.51? Not really. Will we be back? Not sure but leaning towards no.
