Fuji Japanese Restaurant - Longview (TX)

5 /5 Vinny Vousden: I have eaten here every week for the past 3 months and had almost every specialty role on the menu, the freshness and quality of the sushi is excellent. The appetizers are also really good the calamari is my favorite. The Fuji role is my personal Favorite role on the menu, seconded by the Samurai role. I will say the $31 yummy yummy role is not worth it, simply for the lobster tail in my opinion. The only main negative is the cleanliness of the male bathroom, it is not very hygienic.

2 /5 Amanda Green: The food always taste good but the portion sizes are laughable. My roll tonight looked like the size meal you’d feed a toddler. My little side salad looked huge next to it. I’d hate to quit going here but I can spend the same at any other sushi place in Longview and get a roll twice the size.

3 /5 Nancy Reddick: The sushi was well made. I got the lunch salmon bento box, not very tasty. The fried rice tasted like old grease and not seasoned well. Could definitely use an improvement. Salmon was not good, at all. All you could taste was frozen fish, season that thing! The service was excellent!

3 /5 Anna Benoit: Sushi: The sushi was pretty good. California roll was 9/10, Tuna roll 5/10, and Tempura Shrimp roll was 8/10. The soy sauce we had was very salty so I would prefer to eat without. Entree: The shrimp fried rice was a 6/10. It was fine, the shrimp were big and the best part of the fried rice. Miso soup was VERY salty. After pouring some water in the soup it was edible. I was surprised by the Takoyaki since it was served in a different way than usual. It was very tasty and we got several pieces for $6.

5 /5 Keo Fewer: East Texas aint got much great restaurants. We took a chance here and were blown away. We love raw fish and growing up in Hawaii Ive experienced some really delicious sashimi. Fujis sashimi was out of this world and their sushi was well balanced and very delicious. Service was on point Fujis will now be our go to restaurant
