2 /5 Christi Mulkey: I wanted to love this restaurant, but too many of the dishes we tried were just ok and weren’t served hot. I’m going to start with the Deconstructed Cake, which is the first picture. I have to tell you that it what it is because otherwise you would never know. Who would take a perfectly good piece of cake and literally crumble it up on a plate? It looked like someone ate it first then threw it up and served it to us. I was not impressed. It was dry and lifeless. The other menu items that some of us ordered were the Cacio de Pepe - it was pretty good, but really small, the Wagu Burger - just a burger, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs - the meatballs tasted like they were cooked rare, but when we asked they said they were cooked sous vide. They still seemed raw and too mushy to me and we could not eat them. If you want to go for the service and atmosphere, order an Old Fashioned, the Faux Gras and the Truffle Fries. Save yourself about $500 and go have dinner somewhere else.
