China Cafe - Eastland (TX)

3 /5 P. Vo: We stopped by for the first time after many people recommended this place to us. They are either battling an AC issue or refuse to turn it on. It was pretty hot inside, enough to cut our dinner really short. My wife was pretty upset and I think they knew it and turned the air on. Well its Texas and its hot outside. The staff was really nice and talked to us but thats about the only good thing I can say about the place. The food was ok, it wasnt bad but not enough for me to make a 30 min trip out here. We just moved to a nearby town here so I was hoping to find a good buffet joint and I think the one in Graham is a better fit for me. If they fixed the AC I wouldnt mind this place at all.

1 /5 George Sanchez: Asked for a booth waitress had us sit where she wanted us ... yet the next 2 parties that walked in were allowed to sit wherever they wanted ? It was so quiet you could hear me breathing (put some music on man ). Not to mention it felt as if we were being watched the whole time it was extremely uncomfortable.

4 /5 Bryan Moorehead: Had take out from buffet. Wasnt bad. Disappointed they didnt have Green Beans, they told us they werent served for lunch. Noted, it was 14:45.

1 /5 Jay Vela: When I walked in with my party we were greeted to sit. When we asked to sit at a booth the waitress put our cutlery on a table. I asked once more if we could sit at a booth near by, there was no one on the booth. She did not acknowledge and pointed to the table with the cutlery. While we were eating 2 other parties walked in and asked for booths, and were seated in a booth. I also felt watched the whole time while eating... oh and there was no music or noise. The silence spoke volumes. Do not plan to return.
