5 /5 AprilontheRun: Moved away from the Athens area in 2013. Still have family there. Places I missed food wise in Athens came to mind and Burger Barn is one of my 2. Id get burgers and fries for my hubby right before his lunch break so itd be ready when he headed home. Wed meet at home at the same time every time. Best burgers and fries! 12/10

5 /5 Sanders Terry “funyfyrman”: I have been wanting to try this place since we moved to the area. I finally made time to do it. After reading reviews I was concerned but after meeting Bob and talking to him I was pleasantly glad he was a nice enough guy to get my business. Food was delicious and at a fair price. Prices have gone up. (But what prices haven’t) if you’re in the area give him a try. He does except debit cards and there is not place to sit to eat FYI!

5 /5 Joel Mosier: On a recent road trip through Athen we stopped here. Thank you. The cheese burgers were wonderful. The fries were also very good. Good service. Nice staff. Cant go wrong here.

Use the address of the general store next to it to get accurate directions.** I read about this place a while back and was really looking forward to trying the burgers during my visit to Athens. The burger was decent, but the service was not good at all. The gentleman who cooks the food was not interested in conversation and was quite short while we were ordering. Bad day? Maybe, but definitely not going back.
