Boom Restaurant and Bar - McKinney (TX)

5 /5 Jeremy Pittman: Tried this place out after hitting a few drives and I was pleasantly surprised. Drinks were made well, beer was cold, and food was fantastic. Kinny was my waitress and she never missed a beat. Bonus points for being absolutely hilarious.

5 /5 Chad Prahl: A previous post said to try the filet mignon, so we did and it is not only delicious, but a fraction of the cost at most steakhouses! Who knew a restaurant at a golf course would have AMAZING food?!! After several visits, we have yet to find something we didn’t like. Our favorites so far have been the Brussels sprouts, chicken scallopini, filet mignon, whole hog sandwich, power bowl, and the Godfather pizza. PS — order and Old Fashioned, it’s one of the best we’ve ever had!!!

5 /5 Kevin Lyons: I’ve eaten here no less than 50 times, and I’ve never had a bad meal. Service has been slow a few times, but that’s only because the place was packed. The staff is friendly and they have good food choices. Definitely try them on Thursday nights for half priced steaks! I’m a little disappointed that they discontinued the calamari. I’m not sure what they were thinking. They added a few good items though. Give them a shot. I doubt that you will be disappointed.
