3 /5 J JP: We visited on a busy Saturday morning and were greeted right away. The place was cozy, clean, and welcoming. Our server was friendly but very busy and rushed through taking our order, so we ordered less than planned. He also mixed up a few tables even delivered food to the wrong table before correcting it.
We ordered two peach lemonades, one strawberry lemonade, and two chicken & waffles plates (one with hash browns and scrambled eggs) plus a kids’ Mickey Mouse meal. The drinks looked cute but were overly sweet and syrupy, had some lint on the frozen orange juice bears, and didn’t have much actual juice since the bear took up most of the cup.
The food, however, was great hot, fresh, and flavorful. The chicken was juicy, the waffles fluffy, the hash browns perfectly crisp, and the eggs cooked just right. Despite the drink and service issues, the food made up for it, and we’d go back again to give it another try.
