Aggies Cafe - Poteet (TX)

5 /5 Rebecca Aguilar: First of all, the staff is so, so friendly here, Service is phenomenal! I really like the clean and cute cultural aesthetic here, as well. The huevos rancheros came out perfectly, the sauce having a rich flavor with some puréed peppers. The brother flavor brought it all together. Everything was really just great, and I’m glad we finally came to eat here! I’m coming back again.

5 /5 Ernest More: Price was $35 essentially for a lunch special, an appetizer, and a canned soda to dine in, plus a lunch plate and a medium menudo to go. A lot of food for not much money. Pros: Corn chips were great. Guacamole was great. Cheese enchiladas were solid. Crunchy beef taco was good, nothing spectacular. Small place so the hostess/waitress was very attentive, very good. Cons: Chips were not free upon arrival like the old days. They only had canned soda when I went Mar 2023 (although fountain drinks were on the menu so maybe the machine was temporarily broken).

5 /5 Mike Franklin: Aggies is my favorite breakfast place even when breakfast is at noon. The food is good. I love Migas. They have really good tortillas. A good tortilla makes Tex-Mex.

3 /5 Amber Amber: Food is pretty bland for how many stars they have. The service was top notch though, loved the customer service. The place is a bit small. So overall food was okay, customer service, great!
