1 /5 Jenn Satterwhite: I want to give this place 5 stars, I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The atmosphere is classy, calm. The food is good. Tonight I came for dinner with my mom who is visiting from out of state, I spoke so highly of the place. I get the “dinner rush” and I get the possibility of a long wait. However right at the door at 6:30pm with a posted closing time of 2100 we were told for a party of 6 “unfortunately we won’t serve you”. I was thrown by the delivery of the message. You “won’t” serve us ? She then proceeded to say well with the wait and so on.. which I would have still understood… but she was very adamant that they would not serve us because it would take two small tables. We weren’t given the option of the wait list. This is not posted as a reservation only restaurant so delivering a message like that is bizarre. My mom felt embarrassed. And I was embarrassed that I spoke highly of the place. I did want to speak to the manager, not about the dinner rush, but again about the delivery. But instead she refused me the manager. When I called to try and get thru that way; the same greeter answered the phone. She asked why I wanted the manager and what I was going to tell “Heather”, and again I was refused to be allowed to even speak to her via phone. I know losing one customer isn’t that huge a deal. But it does suck, it was disappointing, and I won’t ever be back.
