5 /5 Joe Lassiter: Okay folks - let me introduce myself a little. Im a 43 year old, returning-to-college student after close to 2 decades in blue collared jobs. After HS, I attended Angelina College (Lufkin), COM (Texas City), & ACC (Alvin), though they were 1 or 2 semesters each, I never completed my plans. Ive had some experience.
That all said for me to say this - there are good and not so good in any experience involving many cogs to a goal. My first advisor was not good; I took 4 classes that were simple & Algebra, that kicked my butt. I will say, my Algebra and Statistics professors have been top shelf - Im just horrible on non-physical arithmetic. I have yet to have a bad professor; just 1 or 2 who didnt seem to understand that Im green in these studies, and who were unapproachable.
All of that said, Ive had the best Lifespan Psych prof that I couldve asked for. My Math Profs might have lost me here and there, but I had some of the best. Writing Profs were tough but fair. Government & History - Phenomenal! My A&P prof, though, by far, has been in my top 3 ever, professors Ive ever had the privilege to study under. He is passionate about our learning, and Ill never forget him. If you want suggestions of who I liked, Ill be happy to tell you who & why - just ask.
