From the very first service, it felt like the message was speaking directly to me. Over time, my husband joined us, and that in itself was a miracle. All I can say is that I’ve met truly great people who have helped me along my faith journey. Valley Creek was the answer - this church pours so much into the next generation of followers of Jesus, and our boys absolutely look forward to Sundays at Valley Creek. My wife and I love the church for ourselves, too! There are some many ways to get involved with the church and your community with discipleship as the main focus.

John Harris I love being apart of Valley Creek Church. It is a Jesus focused church and provides a lot resources to help you deepen your relationship with Jesus. David Wade I dont go to church there, but Ive met a few of the people who do, and they have a great Vibe :-) they also keep a nice open Green space that they allow people from the community to use which is extremely nice of them and greatly appreciated.

Shannon Jennings If you like contemporary worship, identify with Baptist traditions, crave emotionally charged sermons, and believe in multiple baptisms you will really enjoy this church. However, if you are looking for a church that is open-minded/open-hearted/no judgement this “may” not be a good fit. I attended for 3 years before pursuing covenant membership. I ended up making the personal decision to withdraw after learning their core values. In a nutshell they believe: elder positions are restricted to men, inner culture is exclusive, and the church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. During this covenant process I felt alienated and excluded. I was being asked to jump over a series of hurdles in order to become a member. It just didnt feel right. The culture was also materialistic in both Denton and Flower Mound. I’ve grown up in small Methodist churches. Leaving the village brought me to a different village where I found a unified, inclusive church that accepted me with open arms and embraced the believer that I have been. No baptism needed. Matt, please speak gently, with a still small voice so that everyone can hear.

Brad Johnson I have been attending Pecan Creek church for almost five years. Pastor Talley is doctrinally sound, preaches verse by verse through the Bible, and implemented a brilliant idea where after the sermon we break up into individual discipleship tables where we discuss the sermon. Not only does this give everyone an opportunity to gain clarity we also get to know one another. If you come here as a stranger you won’t be one very long. In this congregation there is a real sense of family, just as there is supposed to be. As I have said many times, I came for a funeral and stayed for life.

Vasily Dmitrievsky A nice Bible teaching church where one can hear sound doctrine and gospel preached. People are welcoming and loving. It is a multigenerational and multicultural congregation. You will need your Bible to follow the preacher. You can bring your coffee mug into the auditorium. There is a snack time and group Bible study right after church.

sonia I absolutely love going to this church. I started going there about a year and a half ago and have no plans of going anywhere else. I read all the amazing reviews on google and decided to check them out. It is very true what is said. What I love about this church its diversity and welcoming environment. They are truly about loving God and people.

amber rodriguez Friendship church is an outstanding place to go if you want to learn about Jesus. We have an amazing pastor and great praise team. Theres also a nursery and children classes. They offer weekly home groups and Bible study. This church offers alot of different things u can be a part of. Its like one big family

Diamond Skye Helms Update! Beautiful place to meet Jesus, fellowship with friends and family, and have a ton of fun while doing so! Service starts at 10am, Sunday school starts at 9am, Prayer with Pastor at 9:30am, Nursery and FC Kids, Free coffee and donuts in our Sacred Grounds coffee shop. Wednesday nights they offer Adult Bible Study, Youth Encounter, AWANAS and nursery for the little ones. My husband and I are the Youth Pastors here, we would love to meet you and get to know you on a personal level. Come out and let’s be friends!

It is evident that the worship team has a personal relationship with the Lord they sing about. Prophetic worship and declarations are not strangers here. Drs Russell & Keisha Lewis are the lead pastors and seasoned in calling fire down from heaven. The teachings are powerful, uncompromised, & Holy Spirit led.

Robert Cook If you want to know the love of God, this is the place for you! So often people get caught up in religion instead of the greatest command in all of scripture which is to love the lord your God with all you heart, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. This is definitely not the case at Ignite in Denton, today I made my 1st of what I hope to be very many visits to this church and was not only welcomed with open arms but the lead Pastor gave me 4 hours of his time just to get to know me. Cathy Hughes Hubby and I were here for the premiere of "Paul The Last Apostle", and I must say, this church is so well organized! Door holders greet you at the door, and there are volunteers every few feet to help you find where you are going. Need the restroom, a drink of water? They will happily tell you. Even had fresh cookies and coffee for those attending the premiere. Plenty of parking, and comfy seats. Well done!
