In this place you better stay at your seat!!! No second chance to make a first impression Because God is good he’ll use broken things Confounding the wise of this world Jesus is Lord

Shelley Malone I love the diversity and the worship. The pastor is concerning to me. He is a prosperity preacher. “If you give to God, he will bless you.” God is not an ATM. He prayed for everyone to be heal, but did not say God’s will be done. Sometimes God’s answer is not now and sometimes No. The pastor rambles and does not dive deep in the Bible. The sermons were a typical Pentecostal sermon. My final straw was saying that during Mose’s time, the women were throwing their babies in the river because they did not want them. Relating it back to abortion. He needs to go back a read Exodus 1:22. If you are only going to use children church stories, then get them right. Don’t twist them to fit your agenda!

Ms SPG Pastor Chris is amazing. Unashamedly bringing us the truth with love and pure biblical teaching. There are plenty of things going on for young to old. SO many ways to serve! Sermon is interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing and there is a Spanish ministry too. Great church.

Brittany Marvel If you’re looking for a church home, this church family is amazing. We are a family with young kids and the children’s programing is awesome! Our 5 year old begged to go back after visiting and couldn’t stop talking about how much fun she had. As adults, we love the biblical based teaching - it’s amazing how the ministry team can take a tough Old Testament passage and break it down and make it relevant. Every week I find the sermons incredibly insightful. The life group community has poured so much into our family and welcomed us with ease. There have been so many wonderful activities to plug into. We don’t just attend church as we have we done in the past at other churches but we are part of the church.

Alexis Smith My family and I love the atmosphere this Church has. I’ve attended church in general since childhood and since attending Brazos Fellowship for the last 1+ year, it is the first place I’ve thoroughly learned about the Bible through the Bible based teachings Pastor Will gives. The kids’ classes are also phenomenal, and our children are really retaining the lessons and experiences they’re having.

Excellent Sunday School program and weekday Bible study groups. We also love how this church is serious about Jesuss Great Commission. They devote a lot of time and treasure to developing, sending, and supporting missionaries. Matthew 28:19-20 NIV [19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. steven s Local here. If youre looking for a church, please pray over Grace Southwood before reading my review. Trust where God may be leading you-which may not be to this location. This is where my wife and I attend church. It is a Non-denomination, biblical teaching focused, Gospel spreading fueled, giving-driven Christian Church. Ive attended Grace since 2012. Ive attended a few other churches in town since moving here for school in 2005 and I can say BCS has a great assortment of Kingdom-focused churches to call home. One of the big reasons Ive stayed at Grace is because they are a college and international student friendly church. Im a big fan in the way Grace does church - they keep away from becoming a big mega-church site or celebrity-pastor lead body and instead pray when the church is full to start another church in the area. The advantage is, despite the busyness on Sunday, you get the feel of a more intimate church. This is the second campus in the Grace Network in the BCS area. The preaching is biblically focused, heavily logos in rhetoric, and often presented in a min-series format. It is not uncommon to have the pastors in the Grace network rotate out with each other for a 4 week mini series, which provides a nice change of pace from the Status Quo. The church is contemporary in music and setting. One personal aspect I love about the Staff is how open and vulnerable they are willing to be. Like any church, I would recommend attending a few times and making a concerted effort to get plugged in with a Sunday School class or Homegroup before making a decision on staying or not.

Chase Colwell This church has completely changed our lives! My family started attending Connecting Point Church several years ago when we needed a church home. What is the most important part of a home?.... the family members that make the house a home. The "house" we started with has changed, we went from meeting at a movie theater every weekend to the building we are now located in which is 30,000 sq ft and God has blessed us with an outpouring of support, this is allowing us to make the dream a reality! The "house" might have changed but the family members have remained strong and growing in ways we could have never dreamed of. Our home church has provided us with our best friends, our childrens best friends, our mentors, and beautiful people that we can honestly say we love with all of our heart! I would have never imagined 3 years ago that today I would be so connected and involved in a church, but this church is different..... this church is my life.... these people make up the center of my social network..... and God is not dead here! He is surely alive and working on people and families in ways that you would have to see to believe! Come check us out, give it 1 or 2 visits and let me know if you can feel the difference? Let me leave you with this.... 3 years ago "I had to go to church on Sundays" from the first visit to CPC until today "I GET TO GO TO CHURCH!" enough said I Love My Church Family!

Miriam Gustafson I started attending New Life last summer through my now fiancé inviting me. He was in and out of town all summer so I attended most services alone, even before I fully committed to attending New Life exclusively. The alone part is crucial because as soon as the Sunday service would end and everyone start standing up and leaving, several people sitting around me would notice I was attending alone. Every one of those members made a very conscious effort to welcome me, get to know me, and introduce me to other people (peers, spouses, friends, pastors). A few weeks in my attendance, I felt the Lord telling me that this was the church for me and to fill out the "welcome card" thing in the back of the chairs. I filled it out and within a couple days I received a personal call from the preaching pastor, Allen. He was welcoming me to the church and inviting me to look into joining a life group (giving me options or instructions). I have attended good churches in the past, but nothing as great and organized as this one. I have also had good pastors, but never had a pastor consistently reach out to see how he can support me best. PLEASE if you are church shopping currently, just give this one a go, we would love to have you!

Levi Brown I have been attending New Life since the beginning of my freshman year at Texas A&M, and the Lord has used the church to bless me far beyond my expectations! The community was immediately welcoming from my first Sunday—multiple people introduced themselves and made efforts to get to know me. That community has continued to support me and encourage me in my faith now that I am a regular attendee! The teaching is soundly Biblical. Church leadership very intentionally grounds all decisions and sermons in the Word.

Danny C I dont believe this is a church of God. I do believe this is a church of money! My truck was acting up the other night. So I pulled into the church parking lot. The parking lot was nice a bright. I pulled in popped the hood. I started swapping out a sensor that I should have replaced before then. It was about 8 pm and the head of something from the church came over and asked if everything was OK. Tried to shake my hand but I showed him my hands where dirty. He said well ok if you dont need anything have a great night and walked off. Didnt think nothing off it and 5 mins last a cop showed up. Said they wanted me to leave and I was given a trespassing warning. WOW. A CHURCH OF GOD really had me trespassed for trying to fix my truck. The cop said he didnt want me sleeping in the parking lot. Doest it not say in your Bible to feed the hungry and shelter the homeless? Even if I was to sleep in the parking lot is this not a house of God? Never in my life have I even heard of trespassing someone from a church for trying to fix my truck. All the guy had to do was say please dont sleep in the parking lot but put my life in danger by calling the cops on me. Thes please should be ashamed and on your website the send thing is asking for money!

Jackie D. Christ Church is truly a good church community to be apart of. I grew up in this church and I love it, every age group has a place for people. I’m apart of Christ College and they continue to aid in growing my faith, even as a busy student. The preachers are amazing, I love each of their teaching styles and worship is also great. They have traditional and contemporary services/worship (I go to contemporary) and God is truly present. If you need a place to go or a church family to be apart of, this is a great place! They will pray for you and welcome you with open arms and lots of love.

melissa schmidt My home. Christland Church and all the people in it are family to me and my two teenagers. We have been going here for 7 years, and we have never felt more safe, loved, and cared for. As a single mom who is constantly short on time, money, and mental bandwidth, that means so much more than they will ever know. I was raised Lutheran(Missouri Synod), and before going to Christland, we attended a big, multi-location, non-denominational church. I had an amazing foundation for my faith growing up, and the non-denominational church- with its teachings- gave me a wonderful, new perspective on God’s love for me, as it grew my faith a little more. However, something was missing. My children and I, didn’t have a community there that encouraged true friendships and relationships through small groups- or just simply doing life together! Christland does an incredible job of teaching AND living out the Bible as a church family, and that has been transformative to my faith. Here, you will learn and experience what it truly means to love your neighbor. I’m forever grateful to the leaders and everyone at Christland that have unceasingly poured into me -and my kids -with an abundance of grace, and no expected return on anything -except that we offer our gratitude to the Lord. I will always recommend this place to anyone praying to look and love more like Jesus. ♥️

Toni Jezisek In all my years, Ive never seen so many prayerful, God seeking people. I an very slow to trust and an introvert, but I feel totally loved and accepted at Christland. I have matured in my faith and biblical knowledge. I have learned to truly pray and how to utilize the gift and power of the Holy Spirit in my everyday life. If you are looking to find a church home, give Christland a look.

In addition, so many people are loving, kind, and genuine. This church and its people have blessed my life abundantly. And it’s a great place for my kids to learn and grow!!

Evin Schuchardt I found this church when I was a sophomore. I was trying to follow God and had a lot of tools to do so, but it was through this ministry that God radically transformed my life and showed me what it was to have a relationship with him. Through small groups, called homegroups, Fellowship Church focuses on a Jesus-centered community to give students and non-students a structure by which to pursue God. I highly recommend it.
