Anthony Sloan Im so glad God made people like Ryan I was traveling in my 18 wheeler and had a tire give out and it tore up all kinds of stuff my air bags mudflap and even bent the cross members of my trailer . Not having my tools on me I was so glad Ryan came and handled it I just gave him my tire size and vin number and he took care of it all took a few hours but no telling where he had to go get parts I was in the middle of San Antonio and Houston so a few hours hell I was happy honost guy he didnt rob me like so many will on the road. Ill call anytime Im in his area and need help.

Melissa Garcia We have used Hammer Automotive in the past and have referred many people to this business. After today, that is changing. We called to make an appt 2 weeks ago. Dropped the car off this morning as scheduled and was told he could only look at it today and any work that would need to be done would be another 2 weeks. When my husband called to check the status of the car, he said I am not going to look at it for 2 weeks. So we sent my daughter to pick it up since it would be another 2 weeks and was told we lost our place in line and that he does not call people back when he has time. I left our positive review as we did have great service in the past, but when we call ahead and make an appointment and we understand that business is good, we dont expect to be treated like this, he could have very easily called us and asked for us to reschedule.

james puntasecca These guys are honest!! I was in New Jersey/New York and my family had the same mechanic 30 plus years. I moved to Hallettsville!! I knew no one. These guys are great!! I know nothing about cars. Nothing! My "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I took it to them. Anthony checked it out for me. He could have sold me the Brooklyn Bridge!! I need my vehicle for work!! He checked things out. Asked if I had gotten gas that day. I was thinking the worse. I said, "Yes." He went out and tightened the gas cap. Problem solved!! Light off. I asked him, "How much? 20 bucks?" " He said, "No charge!!" Not a dime!! I have been here three years now. Driven back to N.Y. and back three times. (Round trip 5,000 miles). My vehicle is 04 with 167,000 on it. Before I left, they checked it out. Again, could have made a million. Last time was $174.00. I never had a problem on any trip. These are my guys!! I couldnt recommend more!!

Wendy Jansky-Serra Mitch (my apologies if Im incorrect in my name recall) went above and beyond to help. I was in town for business and ended up with what I was assuming was a dead auxiliary battery in my hybrid. Thankfully I had a family member that could drive me to the store. I showed up there about 15 minutes before closing time and explained the issue. They did some troubleshooting and found the battery I likely needed at the store in Shiner. I went Shiner to grab the battery and met Mitch in the Kountry Bakery parking lot, where my car was inoperable. He took out my old battery, installed the new one and I was up and running! I love small town hospitality because that could have been a very expensive towing bill to get my car back to Austin had they not been so willing to help me find a resolution at the end of a days work! In a world where so many people just wont do that little extra bit that might make a huge difference in someones day, this was an amazing example of being a great human! I cant thank yall enough!

Chris Gage This shop is very reasonable on their prices and know what they are doing. I think I spoke with Matt, the guy helped me out. We brought some used tires in for a trailer we were selling. He got them put on the rims and we went on our way. In the process of loading some cows, my father in law stepped on the stem valve and broke it, leaking all the air out. I took it back to the shop, and he fixed it fast for no charge, I was not expecting that and would have paid , but being a nice guy just said " dont worry about it, its no big deal". I will always come back to Kocians from now on.

Ricc Rodriguez Was good at first. Ended up waiting 4 months go get my car bk & the day the insurance check cleared, the owner made us wait a whole extra day for no reason. And the body shop left bondo everywhere. They didnt go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even blamed Grafe Automotive for the delay!

lanette davis My car was wrecked near here 9/3/2013 and b and b took it in, the couple who own this co. were two of the nicest people you will ever meet, they got every thing they could find , my car rolled 3 times , plus they covered car with tarp to protect what ever i could save when i got out of hospital Beverly even told me on the phone if i needed anything while we were in hospital just call her and she would get it, wonderful people, even told me if all we saved wouldnt fit in my daughters trunk they could store it for me God was with me my sister ,granddaughter ,and husband when we wrecked we were hurt but we are all alive plus angels are all around this little town, Beverly and her husband and all of the nurses and the dr are all angels to me, thank you so much

Justine White Tommy rescued us when our radiator went out. We were on a trip to the beach. Not only was Tommy professional and courteous, he was incredibly kind and understanding. He fixed my car, and his prices are completely reasonable. You don’t need to worry about being gouged. Tommy is fair and a great mechanic. He’s also a great all around person. We’re going to stop in to say hi next time we’re on vacation! Definitely recommend!

J Thomas I dont generally leave reviews, but this place deserves this one. I wish zero stars was an option. I can honestly say not one positive thing about my experience there. Rude, unprofessional and to top it all off, after paying Tommy over $1,100.00, I had to take the car to a competent mechanic to repair it right. An absolutely horrible experience all the way around! Never again!

William Cleere I’ve purchased a Flowmaster Super 10 very small online and when I called and asked how much it would be to just cut the pipe and put it on they told me $69 And when they finished it was over $160 and when I asked why has it way more than doubled that told me that was just an estimate and was very rude my family and I will no longer be using Tommy’s Automotive and we highly recommend checking around before you go to Tommy’s because they Will take it vantage of you please don’t make the same mistake I did shop around even if you have to drive a little further it’s worth it not to get ripped off
