Pastor Tommy does a great job of teaching from the Bible in a way that you can apply it to your right-now-life. Sunday morning service has a larger attendance than the Monday night. The Monday night definitely feels very relational and chill! Its lovely! So if you work on sundays, I highly recommend checking them out on Monday nights. You wont be disappointed. Teen youth group is on Monday nights at the same time as Monday night church. So parents can stay for church or they can drop their kids off. #CelebrateRecovery meets here Tuesday nights from 530-830. Be fed, be loved, be supported. Free childcare provided during the meeting.

Charleigh Kilo I came her by accident while looking for a venue that I was hired to assist with the catering service, and this one was down the street from where I was supposed to be…. A long story short, it was absolutely adorable and the people were very kind and helped me locate my desired location when I was lost! All this dispute the fact that I crashed the wedding reception accidentally! I felt so stupid and now I’m even later, but luckily these folks were kind to me. Plus I think they seen the humor in my predicament.

Cindy Motz My mother and I are on a Mother-Daughter trip here in Fredericksburg. We are Bible believing believers and we each have, and love, our churches back home in Arizona. This Sunday was our first day in Fredericksburg and we could not have started it out any better than by attending this sweet church. We were immediately welcomed with so much love and everyone made us feel as though we belonged. The pastor’s message was excellent. (He made us both tear up a couple of times.) The Holy Spirit is alive and present here. If you are visiting Fredericksburg, and love the Lord, you will love this church!

Jim Nabholz We attended the New Years vigil Mass at St. Marys while in town. Its such a beautiful church, one of the famous "painted" churches found in Central and Southern Texas. The Mass was wonderful, bi-lingual, and the people are very friendly... a wonderful place to celebrate the Mass. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Its a wonderful place to visit, for folks of any religion. If you like stunning, holy places, St. Marys is for you.

Jacqueline Salter I enjoyed going to the 8am Christmas Mass. The church is beautiful on the inside and one of the few painted churches left. My grandmother went to this church back in the 1950s when she was 15 so I made sure to share the pictures with her.

Gillian Kadhim I’m a wedding photographer and shoot here somewhat often. It’s always a pleasure. Beautiful prayer garden. Has a large hall space for events. Bridal getting ready room. The chapel itself is stunning to shoot inside as well as out. Downtown so parking can be limited with larger groups.

Jenn Sorbe Pastor Mike is a great educator and preacher. The people there are loving and inviting. Worship, healing, deliverance. Pastor Mike meets with anyone who wants to come to Java Coffee on the 3rd Wednesday of each month to talk Jesus and politics. He is very knowledgeable about our Countrys history and speaks from place of biblical truth and depth. Makes me think of the Black Robed Regiment. This is not my church home, but I feel like they are part of my church family for sure. I believe they have a prayer group that meets each week.

The pastors are funny and warm, and the sermons are easy to relate to and yet steeped in wonderful Episcopalian traditions. 3) The office staff is super helpful, communicate well, and they are very responsive to messages or email. 4) Finally, they have a wonderful Mothers Day Out program that both of my children attended before starting kindergarten. I highly recommend St. Barnabas to anyone - whether you are just visiting Fredericksburg or looking for a home church in or around Fredericksburg.

Daryl Torrico I literally met with 60-70% of kerrville and Fredericksburq churches-all denominations. Each time my motive was half to connect with outreach ministries for my senior living residents in need of spiritual light - light best gotten from their own church. My only work was to create space for the grace to occur. And it always did if it was God’s will. My secondary motive was to have a safe place to learn about Jesus by studying the New Testament. Without someone trying to make me say I believe before I did. Christ had been calling me to learn. Pastor Bobby was the only one who absolutely gave me that - within ten minutes I was appointed a most kind and patient and servant minded mentor a woman a little older than me. I was scheduled one on one bible study every three weeks with pastor bobby and group lessons with pastor David. Never did anyone try to make me act like I believed before I was ready. I have never sat alone at any table long enough to sit fully down before someone invited me to sit with them. These experiences are how belief slipped unbeknownst to me into my spirit. I came to believe in Christ because I experienced Christ -like living in this congregation.

Benny Maxwell This review is for Bethany Preschool at Bethany Lutheran Church. My children both have attended the preschool here at Bethany with great satisfaction. There is a productive, nurturing and caring learning environment for children to learn and play. The facilities are always safe, clean and organized. Teachers and staff are aware and competent in each childs experience and participation. The fact that respect, friendship, responsibility and being a kid are emphasized makes it stand alone in todays preschool options. Structure through planned activities and schedule gives my kids a foundation to grow on outside the home. Fellowship through attending chapel and prayer adds another layer of good character building for children to grow on as well. My review of Bethany garners me no benefit or gain in any way. Im happy and proud we made the decision to make Bethany Preschool our childrens first learning environment.
