W. Kyle Willis They preach Christ, sing of the glory of God, and men, young and older, lead the assembly in prayers of praise, devotion and petitions for each other’s needs. An assembly that offers the Lord’s supper each Sunday, just as the Savior said to “remember Me” when He taught His disciples that night before He was crucified. A local congregation in a small city trying to live in this troubled world seeking to be part of what the writer of the New Testament letter to the Hebrews in the 13th chapter said “For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come”. Come and sit together with us in an assembly that’s studies the Bible together and find “the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden” Matthew 5:14. Be another light, Together!

Excellent Sunday School program and weekday Bible study groups. We also love how this church is serious about Jesuss Great Commission. They devote a lot of time and treasure to developing, sending, and supporting missionaries. Matthew 28:19-20 NIV [19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Adam B. Community Church has been home for me for nearly 10 years. I came to the church as a college student hoping to find a group of people whose faith was solid, and who could throw a lifeline to a shaky college student like myself. Instead of a "formula" of how to "fix me", I experienced authentic Christian Community, and people who recognized that I needed to experience Gods deep love for me, rather than compile a list of all the "right answers". It has been a wonderful place to "grow up" in my faith and my relationship with the Lord, and has challenged me to think in new ways about what it means to be "one with God and with each other". The heartbeat of life at Community Church is our small groups, (or "Com Groups") on Wednesday nights. The leadership is intentional about rotating us through different groups, in order to build community amongst the entire church, not just in small fractured sub-groups. The worship and music comes from the heart, the teaching challenges the mind and soul, and the relationships change the way we see each other as "One Body". I couldnt be more grateful for this church home.

Miriam Gustafson I started attending New Life last summer through my now fiancé inviting me. He was in and out of town all summer so I attended most services alone, even before I fully committed to attending New Life exclusively. The alone part is crucial because as soon as the Sunday service would end and everyone start standing up and leaving, several people sitting around me would notice I was attending alone. Every one of those members made a very conscious effort to welcome me, get to know me, and introduce me to other people (peers, spouses, friends, pastors). A few weeks in my attendance, I felt the Lord telling me that this was the church for me and to fill out the "welcome card" thing in the back of the chairs. I filled it out and within a couple days I received a personal call from the preaching pastor, Allen. He was welcoming me to the church and inviting me to look into joining a life group (giving me options or instructions). I have attended good churches in the past, but nothing as great and organized as this one. I have also had good pastors, but never had a pastor consistently reach out to see how he can support me best. PLEASE if you are church shopping currently, just give this one a go, we would love to have you!

Levi Brown I have been attending New Life since the beginning of my freshman year at Texas A&M, and the Lord has used the church to bless me far beyond my expectations! The community was immediately welcoming from my first Sunday—multiple people introduced themselves and made efforts to get to know me. That community has continued to support me and encourage me in my faith now that I am a regular attendee! The teaching is soundly Biblical. Church leadership very intentionally grounds all decisions and sermons in the Word.

Ben Dunning Ive been attending New Life since my first weekend of college at Texas A&M in Fall 2020. I was certainly nervous about finding a new church because Id been attending the same one with my parents nearly all my life, but it only took a single service for me to realize this was the church for me. The preaching is Biblical, and the Gospel is proclaimed every single week. The elders are thoughtful and intentional about always trying to serve the church body in the best way they can. And of course, the members are welcoming and passionate followers of Christ. It is for these reasons and dozens of others that I am still at New Life nearly five years later. It has truly been an indispensable part of my life.

Courtney Cannon FINALLY found a church that made us feel welcome right from the start- we have been to many churches throughout our life but Rivergate is one of a kind- everyone is genuine and cares about other people. The first week we attended, we were invited to lunch by people we had just met. I’ve never had an experience like that before. The leaders and attendees are the first to admit that they aren’t perfect but are super thankful for the redemption through Jesus. I am constantly challenged by the faith that’s exhibited at this church. I also have found major respect for the leaders here and how the church is governed. They seek to listen to the Lord and then act according to His will. They keep short accounts but do everything out of love. The leaders here have taken love to a new level unlike I’ve ever seen before. I also have never found any pastors that I’ve Felt more comfortable with than the ones at RGC. I am so thankful that I’m able to be a part of such a raw community here at Rivergate church!

Helen M Rivergate is a place with open arms that offers an inviting atmosphere to the whole family. The phrase most often heard from folks visiting Rivergate Church is "feels like home" and my family and I feel the exact same way. When looking for a new church home we asked for recommendations from friends and the most enthusiastic recommendations were for Rivergate. When visiting we found that the people are warm and welcoming. The worship is contemporary and free with a very talented and Spirit led worship team. The pastors are very caring, knowledgeable and make themselves available to everyone. All are made to feel like an integral part of the "family" regardless of your age or status theres a place at Rivergate for everyone. If youre not sure what youre looking for try Rivergate. If youre looking for a place to find family, friends and learn how to be effective as a Christian in the Bryan/College Station area Rivergate will make you feel like youve found home.

Rivergate folks are real people, who want a relationship with the Father, through His Son Jesus, guided by Holy Spirit and the Word. If that sounds like you, Rivergate is where you belong! Come on and give us a try. If you dont like it, well give you a hug, and wish you Gods best.

Shawn Iram This is an amazingly friendly and welcoming church. A lot of churches say, "once you visit, your family", but this church really means it. My first visit was in late 2021, and my second visit was six months later in 2022, and on that second visit I had several people welcome be back because they remembered me. This church has multiple kids programs to cover different age groups from birth to high schoolers, an extremely active college group, and a mens group (that meets for fellowship and breakfast tacos once a month). Try to get there early. Sabbath School starts at 10 AM on Saturday, and in my opinion thats the best part because it gives you an opportunity to really dive into the Bible and study with people who many have a different perspective and insights. Potluck lunch is twice a month, 1st and 3rd Saturday, and worth sticking around for after the service. Its a great opportunity to make new friends while enjoying some amazing food.

Brittany Marvel If you’re looking for a church home, this church family is amazing. We are a family with young kids and the children’s programing is awesome! Our 5 year old begged to go back after visiting and couldn’t stop talking about how much fun she had. As adults, we love the biblical based teaching - it’s amazing how the ministry team can take a tough Old Testament passage and break it down and make it relevant. Every week I find the sermons incredibly insightful. The life group community has poured so much into our family and welcomed us with ease. There have been so many wonderful activities to plug into. We don’t just attend church as we have we done in the past at other churches but we are part of the church.

Bonnie Ponce Nice indoor playground in the Children’s sections of the church. Very nice place to let kids run loose with adult supervision. And it is indoors, enclosed so kids don’t run off and a great place for families with several kids and infants. I saw a mom put out a blanket to give her baby (probably under 6 months) tummy time and was also able to let her older kids run around in a safe environment. They are also a church that is clearly flush with cash. The elaborate children’s decorations, multiple fountains, and huge salt water aquarium. They look like they are trying too hard.
