Angela Horany This church is exactly what I have been looking for for my family. I love the childrens ministry for my 4 and 9 year old. I also love that this is a very uplifting ministry in where we believe how good, loving and gracicous our God is, how he is inside of us all, without a condemming manner. My family and I have been more than overjoyed for a little over 3 years and would not recommend anything else. It is family and it is home.

I think I have found where I belong that has my values in the way I worship and connect with Him, as I was personally moved after the mass. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and I felt very welcomed. The church inside was very ornate and beautiful, and my favorite part of the interior are the stained glass windows. Everything that happened was so new to me (growing up Pentecostal) but the woman I was paired with was very kind and helpful, and guided me throughout the entire service. The pamphlet was also very informational and nicely designed. Highly recommend and I would like to continue attending.

If youre looking for a church with a traditional liturgical mass setting, please do not hesitate to make the Good Shepherd your home. Rita Basey I dont even know where to begin honestly. This Church is like nothing I have ever attended. When I say the presence of God is STRONG, I am not kidding. The people of this Church are unlike any people Ive met at a Church. When I am here I feel loved, accepted and safe! The second I walk through the door, its like God Himself is standing at the door and allows no outside baggage to enter allowing you to feel His presence through His people and His message straight through the Pastors mouth! They step in and do all they can without hesitation! They truly give you their heart, love, and devotion from the start! Joann Deweese I grew up Baptist . Cliff Temple Baptist Dallas Tx. I approach the church there was several people by the door. There were two men having A discussion on either side of the door. Respectfully excuse myself, and walk through the threshold, never being welcomed. Once inside the chapter, I thought I was going to be welcomed for I have never been there before . It didn’t happen. I arrived 20 minutes before the service started no one at any point came and welcome me. I was taught at church that the most important part was to make people know how welcomed they are and how important they are to God in the church. I felt none of that.

Richard In all my years this has got to be one of the most unique Catholic church’s I’ve attended. The building is small, maybe 24’ wide and 80’ long but it has a lot more character than most church buildings I’ve admired and attended. It’s very cozy, almost more like a grotto than a building. I’m told it was built in the 1940’s with thick stone walls, a high pitch roof (12:12?), expose wood rafters and beams. It’s a perfect example of a typical hill country building using the resources of the area. I’m surprised it doesn’t have some sort of a historical plaque on the front of the building detailing its history. All that I can say is it’s an amazing example of the simple style of craftsmanship of the period. I probably needed to go back because I was so impressed with this little church that I didn’t remember what the sermon was about.

P. Ashley One of the most unusual and inappropriate masses I’ve ever been to. On Easter they held the service in the RE room-why?? The priest started out about talking of the importance of the day but then morphed into criticism of his colleagues in Mexico. Was so disappointed when we left!!!

Rodney Brainard After notifying this church of the extremely hostile, bigoted, and vile things I witnessed one of their parishioners state in publicly visible facebook comments, they proceeded to block me. - If these are the types of people that walk in and out of this church, something is extremely wrong and should be done about it. Whoever runs their facebook page should have a good long conversation with the lead pastor as well.

Alan J The Church of Christ is situated in a great location and the people there are warm and welcoming. The limestone building is a beautiful structure that is inviting quite beautiful.

Carl Huber I dont attend service there but every Thanksgiving I volunteer for their free Thanksgiving day dinner. The people volunteering seem super nice as it should be. The event is sponsored by several local churches so its a great event. The place gets crowded as some diners go there like a tradition but there is always room for more. If interested in volunteering, look for notification in local ad, flyers, etc or just call the church. Oh and the food is great.
