Rocks Gym - Portland
Vanessa Morton: Honestly? This gym is not very great. After having a membership at Freedom Fitness in Corpus, I have to say this gym is pretty bad compared to that. The machines are in need of repair or update, the AC doesnt work and the fans are often off or broken by another member or just by being so old. The place is filthy all the time, even though the staff cleans it maybe once a week. I will say the staff is friendly enough, but thats the only good thing about it. I would have joined Planet Fitness, but they are too small and did not have free barbells for deadlifting.
Shannon Health Club - San Angelo
Karl Modgling: The staff at front desk always greets up with a smile and hello. In addition they are helpful if you have a question or need help. Ive lost some things there and they go out of your way to help you look I would recommend this workout facility to anyone who is looking for a health club.
Western Wall Gym - Barstow
brian palos: Great place to get a good solid workout in. This place has the atmosphere of an old grind house. When you find 100lb plates in a gym you know they mean business! Owners are nice and respond quick too. It’s truly a diamond in the rough.
Rocks Gym - Victoria
Stacy Smith: So Rocks probably does have the most fancy equipment or updated facility, but this is where the serious folks go. It’s not an intimidating at all, even for a beginner. I’ve had so many people give me advice about equipment or proper form without feeling intimidated. Our morning workouts are truly like family!
The Bar Athletic Club & Supplements - San Angelo
SpookyTwin: Always welcoming when I’m there working out, great environment & great community. Also it helps that this gym is one of few that is actually opened 24/7. If you don’t have a home gym, I would definitely suggest this one be it!!
The Gym San Angelo - San Angelo
Chandler Fox: Super disappointed… that I won’t get to be here for very long! This is down-to-earth fitness with great coaching and smart programming. You’ll be sore, but your body won’t be wrecked. Smart mods and good coaching are invaluable. I’ve been here 3 weeks and have already improved some skills. Thanks, guys!
Mathis Sports and Fitness Center -
sigmond froid: This is the best fitness facility in town int terms of equipment variety. This gym is built for worriers indeed. It is for for the military, veterans and their families. This fitness center is more like a fitness super complex. Theres a football/soccer field with turfgrass replaced in 2016. Theres a turf baseball field. Outdoor and indoor volleyball, wallyball, racket ball courts, a cycling room, aerobics rooms, basketball courts locker rooms and many more amenities. Its the simply the best
Korrect Fitness - Austin
Korrect Fitness
Ryan Kalish: Onnit gym is my favorite gym I have ever been to before. The trainers there I met Nick Gomez, Michael Palser, Leo Savage, Alex Bradley and more are all top notch. After 5 years outside the USA I felt so at home here in this gym. All the equipment you’ll ever need, amazing artwork, multiple rooms, and amazing gym members make this gym unforgettable. The vibe can’t be beat as you’ll get the best out of yourself training here. Lots of love to this place. When in Austin or moving here I 100% recommend it.
Bodyworkz Health Club - Bridge City
Tad Collier: Convenient, clean, spacious gym with a great group of members that seem to care more about getting their workout in than socializing.
Training from the Ground Up - San Angelo
Andrea Prather: Today was my first time training with a professional coach, and I’m really glad I got to work with Coach Reggie. I learned so much about proper form and technique, which I’ve never really focused on before. We started with a good warm-up and plenty of stretching before getting into the workout ….something I’ve honestly never done in past workouts. I really appreciated that my first day was nice and lenient; I wasn’t pushed too hard, and it gave me the confidence to ease into the training. Coach Reggie was kind, encouraging, and consistently checked on me to make sure I was doing okay and felt comfortable the entire time. Overall, it was a great first experience and I’m looking forward to continuing my training!
