Benjamin Good: Im a traveling member. I got my membership at Anytime Fitness in Dallas, TX. I stopped traveling for work and switched gyms, and havent used Anytime Fitness for 3 years. Recently, I noticed that a collection agency is affecting my credit score because "Anytime Fitness in Marshall, TX" sent me to collections. I paid my membership in full and switched gyms, so this situation is very frustrating. I never received anything in the mail or a phone call regarding this issue prior to being sent to collections. This is incredibly unprofessional and completely unacceptable for a gym to make such an error 3 years after I last visited. When I call the gym, nobody answers. This is not okay at all.

Stephanie Carrasco: We were visiting San Marcos for a week and did not want to pay sign up or membership fees. This is the perfect place for travelers or anyone who just wants to go workout and not be bothered by anyone! Had everything we needed! Old school equipment and it reminded me of working out in my high school gym. Everyone super friendly and helpful if you need assistance. Definitely plan on returning if we are back in town.

Alana de Hinojosa: I have to echo what others have said: Do NOT join this gym. On top of the moldy smell & dirty bathrooms at this location, they would not cancel my membership even after they told me they had. I was charged for 4 months after my supposed cancelation & when I brought it to their attention they confirmed that the previous manager never even submitted the cancelation request. They apologized & finally canceled my membership, but have refused to reimburse me. Now they wont answer my calls or emails & have been impossible to work with. Update: After I posted this review, the new regional manager called & has refunded me. He assured me he & his new team are working to get this location back on track. I wish them the best.

N M: THRC Downtown is more than just your average gym, its a true community of inspired people of all backgrounds coming together with like minded goals! The staff is unmatched. Always greeted by name or a friendly welcome and they have the most fun, inclusive events. Forget your headphones? no worries the jams are jamming here! The gym is smaller than average but makes up with new equipment and big heart.
