1 /5 3 Strand Cord Admin: I visited the gym today and, unfortunately, left very disappointed. I’ve been coming here regularly as a plus one with my husband, who has already paid for a full year in advance. However, today I was informed by a staff member that due to new management, I would now need to pay an additional fee to continue accompanying him. This was never communicated before, and no one has ever mentioned an extra charge in the past.
We drive 30 minutes just to come to this gym, so to be turned away with no prior notice felt like a complete waste of time. The customer service I received was unhelpful and dismissive. I was also told that even if we wanted to cancel his membership, no refund would be issued, which is extremely frustrating given the circumstances.
If policies are changing under new management, better communication and consideration for long-time members is essential. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning.
