Their online banking system is not user-friendly at all—navigating it feels outdated and overly complicated. On top of that, trying to reach someone for even the most basic questions is a hassle. You can expect to wait on hold for 30 minutes to an hour, which is absolutely ridiculous. And when you finally do get someone on the line, there’s no guarantee they’ll have the answers you need.
In-person service hasn’t been much better. At the location I visited, a simple deposit or withdrawal took about 20 minutes to process. There’s a serious lack of efficiency across the board. I really wanted to give them a chance, but the consistent delays and poor customer service have made it clear—TDECU is just not worth it.
