Then you choose low, medium, or high risk tolerance. They lack fiduciary responsibility and their fees and commissions are extremely high. Take your money and run to a real investment firm. Oh, and you pay an account termination fee on the way out of the door, currently $95.00 per account.

    Ed Maher: Edward Jones charges high fees for advice that is designed to generate income for them. Contrary to the ad, you are better off doing it yourself. I lost over $10K due to Kevins bad advice. Go to Scottrade, they charge nothing for the same advice, they are honest, and they even give you money to open an account. I got $600. Plus my investments are doing better.
