HOTWORX Round Rock, TX - University - Round Rock
O James: I joined HOTWORX Round Rock last week and the ownership and staff have been welcoming from the moment I walked in. The GM took time to share her and her family’s success with the program and that was helpful and motivating. The workouts are challenging, but the heated training environment adds clear benefits, and the variety keeps things engaging. This studio runs well and supports members who want real results. Recommend.

Better U Performance - Round Rock
Devine Shahman “Shahman”: A hidden gem! Amazing atmosphere, energy and just pure positivity backed up by elite coaches like Jen, Danielle and Gavin who are 100% with you during your class and keeping an eye out for those small but crucial body positioning and muscle focusing consultations for an technically optimal workout. This is my 8th month and every week I see a new stretch or a new lifting routine to provide that variety to give optimal benefit to your body. The energy you see in this place comes from the energetic and enigmatic founder Elvis who along with his fluency in rap music brings in experience from his personal professional football carrier. This place is a true American local business come true! Come and discover a Better U here!
RPM Fitness LLC - Round Rock
Joe “CycloneFury”: Great balance of fitness and weight lifting, when you choose to work out with Roger.
Unlimitr – Health, Fitness & Wellness App - Round Rock
Rahnuma Zarrin: A very easy to use app for a healthy you. The coaches are very supportive and provide personalized guidance. I can track my calorie and my progress too. Its amazing
Golds Gym Pflugerville - Pflugerville
Marsella Marin: I’ve been a member here for some time, and unfortunately, the facility has declined to the point where I can no longer recommend it. The gym is not well-maintained. Many of the machines are outdated and dirty, and the treadmills are in particularly poor condition. Approximately 10 of them are completely out of service, while others have belts that are severely worn, uneven, or even slashed. This creates a serious hazard. On several machines, the consoles don’t function properly, and almost every treadmill has had its safety key removed, which raises significant safety concerns. Cleanliness is also lacking. The equipment and facility in general don’t appear to be cleaned regularly, which is disappointing for a space that sees so much use. While some staff members are friendly, approachable, and doing tasks others spend more time on their phones than engaging with members or ensuring the gym is kept clean and orderly. Another recurring issue is the lack of supervision when children are present. I think it’s great to encourage kids to develop healthy habits, but when parents do not monitor them, it creates a dangerous situation. I have seen children using machines incorrectly, which puts them at risk of injury. Staff rarely step in to address this. Overall, this gym feels unsafe, unsanitary, and poorly managed. Until management takes serious steps to update equipment, enforce safety standards, and improve cleanliness, I cannot recommend it.
Burn Boot Camp - Round Rock
Cat Kazmierski: I have been coming to Burn Boot Camp for about two years now, and I absolutely love it. Im the sort of person who wont do strength if Im on my own, just cardio all day long, so having the trainers telling you what to do and holding you accountable is so helpful! They keep it challenging while meeting you at your level, plenty of modifications offered depending on your skill, injuries, even pregnancy. Love the included childcare, and so do my kids. But the best part of Burn is the camaraderie! Ive made so many friends, and everyone supports and cheers for each other throughout camp. Ive always enjoyed staying fit, and Burn makes it fun, too!
WholeFitness - Round Rock
Jeremiah Dye: Love the community that this place fosters. Great people, Great coaches. Ive never been more fit and Ive also had no injuries. They really watch out for your overall health and there are also other things that they do if youre looking to broaden your faith.
AOA Boxing - Round Rock
Sameh Mahmoud: Went to check it out, even stated that to the person who opened up the gym for the night, as I got there as they opened. Didn’t bother to share any details with me and basically proceeded to get the gym ready. A family came in about 10 minutes later and he took all the time to explain the gym, cost, etc. helped another few people, while I stood and watched people warm up. Clearly was not wanted and would not recommend based off the clear selection of who they let into this gym and who they don’t. Couldn’t have been more obvious I don’t fit into that.
Lifeforce Personal Fitness - Round Rock
Lauren Brown: TL;DR: Caitlin is an amazing trainer! Full review: Ive worked out on my own in the past, but never felt like I pushed myself hard enough to get the results I wanted. After an especially long slump of bad eating habits and unmotivated gym visits, I needed help. I knew I wanted to train with a woman as a woman myself. Im also only 5 feet tall, so I was also kind of looking for someone who might be able to direct me best on how to get the changes I hadnt been able to get myself. Based on Caitlins profile on the Life Force website, I knew she was going to be down to earth person I could feel comfortable with, and she has been that and so much more. She will push you to give everything youve got but in a way thats safe for you and mindful of your own body. Her workouts have been fun and interesting and I look forward to each of them! With her help Ive been able to see more results in the 2 months weve had than I ever did in a year of working out on my own! The Life Force gym itself is cozy and has everything you need. Its small but Ive never felt crowded, rushed, or uncomfortable. The other trainers and clients I see there are so supportive and friendly too, so it creates what I feel like is a perfect gym atmosphere: that we all want to work hard, reach our goals, and have a good time doing it! If youre considering working with a personal trainer, no matter the reason, I think the trainers here will get you where you want to go. Caitlin will for sure! Just be ready to show up and work hard!
