    April Misty: DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THIS LOCATION. THERE ARE SOO MANY LOAN COMPANIES TO CHOOSE FROM IN LAREDO. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY. GET A LOAN FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY & AVOID THIS LOCATION. YOU WILL THANK ME. PLEASE READ. They claim to have 24-hour surveillance cameras but when I asked about the cameras they said they dont work. Very suspicious & definitely a red flag. They do not protect your personal information. They dont verify ID. They opened an account under my name just for a quick sale. They claim someone came in saying they were me & wanted to get a loan. I dont beleive them at all! They didnt verify ID & allowed this person to get a loan under my name for $568. I closed my account back in 2011. Credit Karma sent an alert to my email informing me about the fraudulent account. I believe this was an inside job. Thinking since they closed their account years ago, they will not find out. I talked to Corporate & they did their investigation. They came to the conclusion that I am victim of fraud, apologized, closed & removed the account from my credit. This is towards the 2 employees at Excel Finance in Laredo. I am disappointed & upset with the poor customer service I received. Ive talked to many managers before in my life & Clara Garza is by far the most unprofessional manager. When I 1st went into the Excel Finance office in person to get information on the account that was opened under my name, Maria E. Guerrero explained that she was the one who opened the account. One of the reasons Ms Guerrero said she didnt ask for ID was because I was a good customer in the past & always made my payments on time. Soo basically shes saying that since Im a good customer thats why she screwed me over? All the information on my account was outdated & my ID was expired. This is a 2014 account were talking about. Through the whole time I was there Ms Garza, the manager, never got up from her desk to approach me & show empathy. Her desk was on the other side of the room. She heard everything & knew why I was there. She was just talking to Ms. Guerrero from across the room & answering a few questions I had. Soo basically raising her voice a little so we could talk from across the room. The only time she got up from her desk was to get my statement from Ms. Guerrero & make a copy. My older brother was present the whole time that day. This is a very serious situation & I didnt feel like I got any empathy from Ms. Garza at all. The officer present even said this is considered a 3rd degree felony. Ms Garza was very defensive almost the whole time. Even when I was asking basic general questions like: "What is your policies on the amount of cash you can give customers?" She kept saying anything you need to know or any other questions you have, you need to contact corporate. I was calm the whole time. I wanted all my questions answered. She got upset with the officer because the officer was asking her more questions & Ms Garza raised her voice & said I have a lot of work to get done & started grabbing all the papers on the desk, even mine & the police copies. Thats when the police said those are our copies & Ms. Garza gave them back. I caught Ms. Garza rolling her eyes a few times when I was asking questions. The most rude part was when she kept talking over me & the officer. Almost the whole time. I could never finish. I even told her "May I finish what I was saying?". Ms Garzas whole mood & tone changed when she realized the state auditor was standing behind one of the desks close to us. I just dont understand how it could be soo easy for someone to re-open an old account & get that much money without verifying ID, workplace, calling my phone number that Ive had since 2012, & I havent lived in Laredo for years. I was in Laredo on Thanksgiving vacation. I was suppose to leave back home but instead I had to stay there to deal with this mess. I couldve worked the days I had to spend in Laredo. It shouldnt be that easy. As a customer I trust the companies that I give my personal information to & I trust that they will protect it.

    Liz Martinez: Horrible service. They took almost 2 months to compete my income tax. I never got to meet with anyone to have my questions answered. When I’d call, no one would answer. When I emailed, it sounded as if they had forgotten to compete my paperwork and then finally got started on it right away. They told me the wife would work on it. They were highly recommended and I was very disappointed.
