Samaria Bryant: I wish I could give this lie-awyer no stars. He took my money, and instead of him having a conversation with me. He went to the court and dropped my son’s case due to non payment, on the day my son had court. This is what he stands up and says in front of a courtroom full of people and my son sitting there (he was so embarrassed). Especially when that wasn’t the case. Keeping in mind I just made a $1896 payment and previously made one equivalent to that. So why would you take my money two days before, to only go drop the case (thief). Times are hard in this economy and for people to handle people in such a way is disgusting. His behavior speaks volumes to his integrity. I wasn’t going to write e review, but people need to know what is happening behind the scenes with these kinds of people. You should know who you are entrusting your money and your family with. All I can say is he’s not it. In the end, we didn’t need his help after all. My son’s charge was dropped and he received probation for the other offense. The Bible says that which you sow, so shall you reap. Be careful what you plant, because that will be your harvest.

Jeromy Mendoza: Called the lawyer on a Friday to try and get some help he says call back Monday so he can see what he can do. Come Monday I call secretary tells me she will let him know I called and to have him call me back. I wait till Wednesday no response from my so called lawyer so I give them a call and ask for him secretary gives another excuse and claims she’ll have him contact me. I wait all that day with no response. Thursday passes no call. So now it’s today(Friday) and I called him again I’m told by the secretary she will let him know I called. This is very poor service for someone who’s about to get $10,000 for not even doing a damn thing on my case. He hired a third party lawyer to do my case and not even that guy answers me. Over all I feel scammed by these people into making easy money for them selves and not caring what the client is going threw. Very unprofessional taking advantage of people who needed a lawyer as soon as possible and all they saw was dollar signs.

Lauren Austin: Unlike others, I believe this firm showed nothing but professionalism through an incredibly unfortunate situation. This is nothing other than a small business targeted through a fraudulent e-mail. The staff was incredibly kind in answering any questions I had, and I cannot imagine the stress they were put under. If the opportunity ever arose, I would certainly use James T. Shelton as my attorney.
