Nacona Ferrell: After being with them for 2 years, I am leaving as they almost doubled my home owners insurance from 2,300 to the new 4,000, with no claims, and they dropped my car insurance policy for a speeding ticket that is almost 4 years old. Do the math on that, the ticket is older than my time with the company. Its the only ticket my wife or I have ever gotten in 14 years of driving each. Again, never had a claim with them, updated the electrical a few months ago at their demand, and now they drop my auto, costing me the home and auto discount. Update on this: After canceling both home and auto policies, I received a notice from my home lender that Safeco charged my account for the 4,000 for the new policy a week after canceling, and a full 15 days before the new policy would have gone into effect. This caused issues with my new insurance company and lender as now there was not enough in the account to cover the new insurance policy. Safeco did send the refund check in a timely manner.... only good thing they did. Beware working with them.
