5 /5 Valerie Remington: Greater Texas is a GREAT bank, especially the Bastrop Branch. I have been a member since the 1990s and I have always had superb service, friendly people who work there and just a wonderful bank. I no longer live in TX but still am banking with them because most banks (NOT credit unions) will charge you just for walking in the door. The complains I read in reviews are just unreal and I wanted to add how wonderful it is to bank with them.l

1 /5 ANNE A: I have a business and being Aggie affiliated we chose to place our account with GTFCU since April 2016. I love the actual branch team, however we now cannot call and talk to a branch team member when an issue arises. I have a plumbing company and we went in for an oil change but the card on file expires in less than a month so they cannot process it. Not GTFCU issue but we have had this response from several vendors and have not received our new card. So I call. 2 hours and 45 min and I am told through the call center a specialist will call me back at some time of their own discretion to find a solution. They provide me several numbers which are supposed to reach a branch but all route back to the service center. I feel that if the bank has our money at their disposal, we should be able to talk to a branch team member if something is urgent to us. We will be moving all of our accounts to another facility that offers real customer service. Although that obviously takes considerable effort when we have direct payments set up with clients, it still seems worth it.

1 /5 Lydia Arellano: If I could choose 0 stars I would. I am not a member. But I work for someone who is. First I went through the drive way. They said nonmembers have to go inside. I went inside, I had 4 small checks. The amounts are small so I wait till I have a couple of checks. The lady looks at all the checks, looks at computer. And walks away, not telling me why. She goes to one room, then comes out goes to another room. Then, the other lady up front goes to the back with her. One comes back, I said whats the issue? She says we had to call the checks issuer, its policy for over$400. And Its $5 per check to cash". No 1 she should have told me what the policy was, before walking off, making me feel like they think Im a thief No. 2 $5 per check regardless of what the amount was!! My boss wasnt happy either when they called asking her if she issued these checks to me. Horrible, unprofessional and just rude

1 /5 Dustin Canik: I had a new auto loan taken out through Greater Texas Aggieland Credit Union. They sent info in the mail but have NO information as to how to set anything up using their app. So I tried calling several numbers but NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! How can you run a business this way? I am deeply disappointed as this is my first experience with this bank. AWFUL!!!
